Oppurtunity for a filmer to work for new production company to travel around and film.

We are starting a new production company this year and we are looking for a semi self funded filmer to film for our up coming film "Juvenile Delinquents".

The movie will be an unusual concept in which we aim to make a reality style documentry about a team of skiers and possibly snowboaders and skaters and there travels to different locations around the world. If chosen the filmer will be given a % of the over all gross profits of the movie as well as free places to stay in Australia, NZ, Switzerland , Mammoth and possibly free heli time in Russia. Also free Lift tickets, As well as access to top notch filming equipment and possibly a full on editing studio on the completion of filming set project to help with the editing process. We will be spending our time based out of Verbier in Switzerland in the northern winter where the filmer will be given a free place to stay for the winter season (this usualy costs upwards of 5000$)as well as other perks that may arise over the trip. You will also be introduced to top level athletes, producers and directors from many different companys in the action sports industry as well as the film industry and given potential oppurtiunites to further your Currently the project will include the following skiers, snowboarders and skaters.

The filmer will have to pay for own travel expenses as well as food and ceratin lodgin expenses but only on ceratin occasions.

Skiers: Cory Zila: (mammoth Am Team,Dynastar USA team, 2nd US open Rail jam 04, 1st place -Juniors Crossmax Skier cross-US Extreme Championships, Crested Butte, CO,1st Verbier Ride Big Mtn Qualifier, Verbier Switzerland ect.)

William Stolk: (Dragon Austrlian team member,Fusion car audio International team, 2nd Q-town Big air current competitor on World Big mountain Tour)

Takashi Hirosai: (Ultamatum International team, 1st Naiba Big Air 4frnt japan team)

Tyeski Kinsonooki: (Former Japanese mogul phenom youngest ever to make world cup finals aged 16, Verctorglide international Team, 4th Nokia Big Air Taipei 05)

James Hillier: (2nd Wsi Big hit pipe 04, Prior Skis Internatnional team, Ultamatum team rider underground ripper)

Snowboarders: Ben Mchugh (1st uk rider Red Bull Rail Storm, Rossi Euro team)

Jarred Telliano (Ninthward team rider snow and skate)

Skaters: Chad Fernandez (Independent internatinal team, former pro shoe with globe,3rd X-games Street 03.)

Basicly the deal is you come on as a partner in the movie and will recieve a % of the profits after the movie starts selling. You are provided with a place to stay for the season free of charge (it may be a couch but Beggars can't be choosers) We will help cover half of your season pass the other half you have to pay for your self, we will introduce you to certain people to help further your career and through out the season we will take certain trips to different locations where we will pay for your board and possibly lift tickets but it wil bepend on certain situations. This isnt a free ride, it is a unique oppurtunity to do something different and apply your skills to a new and cool project and possibly make some $ at the end of it. once again this whole school thingy gets in the way. and I dont have the money to fly around the world. but if you wanted to give me a psp ipod and extra bateries, stuff me in your sutcase and check me on the flight we might have a deal.
 
damn I wish I could do that, but I gotta go to school...I guess it would look good on my film collage resume if it says I skipped one year of school to travel the world and film for a movie though.

Skipping school would be awesome but my parents would never go for it. I doubt they would take 15 year olds anyway.
 
the ad should read:

Dumb rich kid with nice camera wanted. Spend all your money on plane tickets and food, when you're near our house you can sleep on the couch for free. It's worth $5,000 because that's how much rent costs per year, which our parents pay. O yea, you have to buy your own lift tickets too. Once you shoot our movie of no name big mountain guys well let you edit it on our computer, it's state of the art, it has premier. Once you've made the movie for us well give you a share of the profits, that is if we're lucky enough to sell over 1500 copies. Also if you know hot chicks that we can bang please bring them, because we have trouble doing anything for ourselves. So most likley you'll drop about $3,000 to hang out with us and work for free. i would be all for that except for this tiny inconvience known as school.. i kinda have that "school" thing during the winter and they dont like when i go live in switzerland for a semester too much.
 
that is exactly what i was thinking. And plus, its hard enough to break even making ski movies. a % of the profit would suck. you'd be lucky if you left with 5 bucks
 
haha truuue. But, its an opportunity, as he stated, not necesarily something you should take up if you are trying to make bank.
