OPINIONS PLS.

the only real twin tip ski company, ARMADA of course, they got some of the best riders riding for them so you cant go wrong.

'It stirs up envy, fame does. People...feel fame gives them some kind of privilege to walk up to you and say anything to you--and it won't hurt your feelings--like it's happening to your clothing.'
'Fame is fickle and I know it. It has its compensations, but it also has its drawbacks and I've experienced them both.'
'Sex is part of nature. I go along with nature.'
'I don't mind making jokes, but I don't want to look like one.'

K2 Fujatives would be a good choice as far as price and quality of ski goes - next year's Fujatives look really sick. Armadas can be kind of pricey, but a lot of people are very very happy with them. The PEs are stiffer than the Fujatives, and more expensive. I currently ride on Salomon 1080s, but they are starting to break down. I'd avoid skis with a foam core (1080s and Scratches). Try to find a decent shop somewhere where you can at the very least actually hold and flex the skis. If the shop is really good, they will have some demos on hand that you can take up and try out. Also, keep an eye out for demo days at a mountain near you where companies come to pimp out thier new skis. It is a great opportunity to see what is out there. What ski is the best for you can only be determined by you. You are the only one with all the information you need (what kind of sking you like to do, what you want to progress into doing, how tall you are, how much do you weigh etc.) however, if you share that information with the people here, they might be able to provide you with some more useful suggestions. Saying shit like 'Armada's are the gnarest ski out there, get those!' doesn't really help guys.

LOL! Before someone calls me out on this. I realize I started out by saying 'K2 fujatives look really sick.' But then I did give joe some more useful ideas and suggestions. So yeah.

^ word to teh K2 fugies.. there light how ever more a park oriented ski. GO with teh enemies for not only park orientated shit.

Personally, I like softer skis even for all mountain riding. Of course, I live and ride in Colorado where the conditions stay good through most of the year. East coast skiers might appreciate a stiffer ski more when conditions get really hard-packed and/or icy. K2 is probably the best 'corporate' ski manufacturer, and they keep thier prices pretty reasonable. It would be nice if everyone had the cash to fully support the more independent ski makers like Line, Armada, 4FRNT, and others; but some people don't have that sort of money to slap down.
