Opinions on the 2017 Line blend?

Im looking at these for my new park skis. Will Wesson uses them so they have to be pretty good right? Graphics are meh but I could give a fuck less what my skis look like vs how they perform. Opinions?

fun ski, really soft though, which makes them kind of weird to butter on until you get used to it. I'd definitely size up instead of down.

Line says it has a fat base technology that helps in powder is there any truth in that?

not really sure what you mean by this, but they've got some rocker which helps in powder, the bases are sintered so they are pretty fast when waxed properly.

I really like them as a versatile ski. They can do everything well, just not great, if that makes sense. You can't go that fast because they're soft, you can't ski super deep pow because they're not that wide, but they're fun as f*ck and you'll enjoy skiing it in pretty much any situation regardless.

If I want to go fast and ski groomers I ski my Rossi Scratches, if I want to charge deep pow I ski my Surface One Life's. If I want to go out an ski anything and have fun I take the Blends.

Fatty base/edge just means they're thick for a bit more durability and tuning life.

just picked up a pair of 17s, bumping this instead of making a new thread.

has NS reached a agreement on best mount point? i'll be using for 80% park / 20% buttering down midwest "all mountain".

i'm thinking -1 from true.

That's where I mounted mine, I'm pretty happy with it.
