Opinions on Big Mt skis?

Hey I am moving to keystone this year and need a pair of good all mt/backcountry skis. I had Pocket Rockets but I sold them to a girl on the chairlift for a few hundred and now all i have is my 1080s, and i hate them for anything rough or deep. Anyone have any recommendations between the seth pistols, the bigger atomic skis (big daddy, sugar daddy, etc.), Head MOnster, Rossy bandit b2 or 3, Dynastar lil big fat, armada arv, or any other good all mt skis?

Dynastar Legend Pro -- best big mtn. stick on the market next winter, followed closely by the V-Ex and the B3's.

If you want something a little more jibtastic, look towards the Head Mad Trix Mojo, Armada ARV,

Seth Pistol, or the Mo'Ships.

Skis like the Fischer 10.6s, Gotamas and AK Made'ns are too floppy and big for anything but big pow days - the second the snow turns to crud, they are out of their element.

LBF's are too skinny/short to be good big mtn. skis unless you don't weigh very much or ski slower.

But it all really depends on how fast you like to ski, how many turns you like to make, how much you weigh, and how hard overall you charge. Skis like the V-Ex and the Seth Pistols are both fat, big-mountain skis, but ski radically different and are suited to totally different styles.

i tried my friends pistols and they rocked through crud (never rode em in pow)

i think the Gotamas look sick and sound really good and durable. also they have bigger tail tip than nose tip for switch riding. (like 05 armadas)

 
deffinatley cant support the b2's they really aren't made for powder. u should give the m185's or 195's a try they are really good all round, specially in powder

Gotama's, The tips and tails are absolutely huge, the tails even bigger than the nose, and they look baddass. they look sick for switch powder skiing(as well as forward)

For Keystone the MoJo's would be sick. They would rule the outback and then still be able to slay area 51 on the way back to the base. you should def live in breck tho, keystone base is rather dead at night, just my two cents...

yea i get a shitl oad of discounts cuz my boss is a rep... and plus i passed level 1 and 2 of PSIA so i get alot off.... are they twins??

I believe the Gotama's are one of the best looking skis on the market. I have not skied them but have mates that rave about them. Any thing that volkl makes is only going to be quality. This is the New graphics that are out down here in New Zealand:

even though i live in Buffalo, I would recommend a fat twin, it is something that can carve hardpack and powder, and rip in the park

get a more reliable all mountain ski... id go with the b3's cuz theyre sick, maybe the gotamas or the pistols...i think id stay away from ones liek the motherships

i'm gonna say motherships. i ride them and the floatation is killer, and they can take whatever you throw at them. i really like them for busting through crud, and i've taken them down some really sketch straightlines where they've been stable. the tip and tail are super soft (like rubber, seriously) for like 6-8 inches on each end and then the rest of the ski just doesn't flex at all. it's perfect. the flex in the tips gets it above the powder and cushions on landing off cliffs or in the park and the stiffness of the rest of the ski lets you bust through anything. they're sick

my level of radness... it just can't... be quantified.
 
don't go for this years gotamas. they are a good ski, but bad durability. the topsheets bubble and delam really easily. but apparently the problems are going to be fixed on the 2005s.
