Opinions/Experience with K2 Sect, Salomon Threat, Volkl Alley

IMO Salmon Threat and the K2 alley both pretty suck. Both are really beginner skis and die out pretty quick. I used to ride the Alley like 3 years ago and they were trash. IF you want a cheap, good cambered ski go with Surface Blanks

Second this...Surface Blanks kill it. Besides the extruded bases which are a little slow they are such a killer ski if you're looking for something full cambered. I have owned 2 pairs of them and love them / ride them quite often especially on east coast days the park blanks make a solid all mtn ski.

How about the Salomon TNT's? Did anyone try them?

Had a friend who rode them this season, he hated them and they didnt last. Depends how much and how hard your ride, but Id say stay away from them. You'd probably like the Volkl Step but not really sure what kind of ski you are looking for

Had the Head Caddys and really liked them. I like softer skis. I just didn't hear really much about the TNT's and i could really get a good deal on them. Just heard that they're kinda soft. But yeah, it's way more important that they last one season. What was the problem with them? Did they break? Or is the edge too small?

I don't actually know, they just fell apart. Edges and sidewalls were pretty much gone. Imo you could find a better ski for a decent price. Chronics are like $285, durability is eh, but heard they are really fun to ride while they last. Depends how much you ski I guess. Da Nollies are really fun too. I picked up a pair last sumer for $299, but usually are around $350 over the summer
