Opinions: 1080 vs MikeNick.

I have demoed the 1080's and I was wondering if they're anything like the Like Mike Nicks, because getboards has a sweet deal on the MN's right now. Are they good skis? and if they are, what is a good binding to mount on them, i know the reactors are shit. thanks

 
I ride 1080's, and have ridden Skogens, but not Mike Nicks. What i can say is the Salomons are a smoother ride, and a softer ski. Lines are wood which is stiffer, and gives more pop, but the tails are pretty tall and can get in the way. Very different skis, but both a good choice.

hmm 1080's r softer than lines? I thought line was about as soft as it gets, the nicks look way cooler tho, I'll tell ya that much.

1080's are stiffer in the tail, mike nicks are softer tip and tail, and somehow stiffer all over than skogen's even though they have the exact same core (weird). 1080's are also wider, i.e. better for powder
