Frontflip>Tucked Backflip>Laid out backflip

Who can agree?

extra points for tucked backflip with safety or some grab

Wow, you're so quirky

yeah, I'm unique like that.. but seriously... I can't believe nobody understands me.. Like I'm specifically recalling the front flip that closed I think Keesh life 2. That turned me on to front flips over backflips 100%. and IDK layed out backflips are played- they don't have the same aggression a tweaked and kicked tucked backy can have IMO

It could just be how im imagining the tuck vs layed backy tho. If they're both just one fluid motion ill take the layer over tucked. But if your flexing it the tuck has more style opportunity where the layed backy is always gonna look the same

you have no imagination

backflips are the most vanilla trick after 360s they're not hard or cool looking unless you do them off something besides a park jump

anyone can do them sure, but few can do them well. and when they're done really well they're sick. Its like Hoji with just simply taking turns. Everyone can turn on skis, but nobody can turn like Hoji. Same can be said for methods on a snowboard.

But I think you're really just proving my point if you think they're all lame and vanilla, you don't have the imagination to make them stylish. Ive seen lame cork 9's too, also seen cork 9s that make my jaw drop

doesn't change the fact that they look lame on park jumps 90% of the time

Im not gonna put a percentage on it but sure, the average person doing the average trick looks average, (Ans you could say that about a lot kore tricks than just 360s and backies). But i said ***when done nice*** so your point is irrelevant

I think you mean frontflip > backflip with grab > layed out backie > tucked backflip

It depends, if youre just doing a fluid tucked backy then the layed out will look more rowdy for sure. But in general i see more style potential for a tucked backy because you can play with the motion of the flip by stalling it out whereas a layed will always have that sort of smoothness thats cool but generic.

Imo park jumps' poppiness are way better for off-axis on spins like corks and flatspins, because it's a good surface for edge engagement. But it's usually not really perfect for a backflip. Some side hits and cliffs are much better shapes for straight flips

Agreed, but a general theme here is a good skier can make anything look crazy on any jump, be it a straight air, a backy, or a flexed dub nose cork 5.

Three sickest backflips/frontflips:

SethMo laid out backflip

JP Auclair backflip mute grab

P White dub nose frontlip

In terms of park, i think the greatest frontflip ever done (Harlaut's griselda flip) is far better than the greatest backflip ever done. That's all i'm gonna say. Don't know shit about backcountry.

Nah. best trick you can do is buy those 20 buck cheeseburgers and hit a roller throwing it at a rich person. Then seeing them post about it on social media and entertainment tonight and you know you did a good turn daily!
