that camera is not 700$. that site is a scam..i repeat..a HUGE SCAM.
alot of time what sites like that will do is just send you the camera, no lenses chargers batteries or anything..then charge you rediculous amounts to buy those accessories..or other times they are slightly changed in design to dodge patents so the camera you buy might not actually be a JVC and be a pile of shit.
dude. B&H is one of the most legit sites around. You are the first person out of at least 30 other people on NS that had something bad to say about them
I would definitely agree. The HD1 was pretty much the first hdv camera. It wasn't anything special really when it came out, other than the fact that it was consumer HD. Now its just really outdated. You're definitely better off going with a camera from the hv series. I've heard nothing but good things about them.
yeah but you guys have to understand that I won't be using this camera for much more than skiing and that this would be my first camera ever. Does that change anyhing? or do you still not reccomend it? I'm looking for a camera with decently good colour, I want a handle, And the HD isn't even THAT important to me. so lets be honest. Will this camera suit MY needs?
Get over the handle. Stop trying to convince us to convince you to get this camera. Just pick up an hv30 for the same price. You'll be pleased. End of story.
