Opinion on Line

What's your opinion on Line Motherships. Im trying to decide wether to buy those with line reactors or seth viscious with salomon 912's. I already have a pair of pe's but i don't know if i should branch out and try another brand.

Ok YES Line is a great company can't get me wrong there but in my opinion i don't like their skis and bindings what not. I'd go with the Seth Pistols w/ the Salomon S912 binding because the salomon bindings will be the best binding ever if you go to your local ski shop and you tell them to put the right DIN setting on them for you, if you do it yourself the binding will pre-release on you like a chicken with it's head cut off so i hope this advice helps you somewhat thanks

My opinion. Line rules. I haven't skied the K2s so I can't compare. As for the 912 ti I believe it to be a crappy binding that sucks the suckyest suck-suck around. They are good if you are not heavey or ski like my grandma. I don't know why it sucks the suck-suck so much but I have broken 2 sets. Its weird because I have absolute faith in the 914 and the 916's but as I mentioned the 912 sucks. Next year they have a beefed up version called the 912 FIS which should address the problem of the 912 sucking so much.

Just my opinion and I'm sure there are people that have had no problems with the 912's.

 
they are both awesome skis, just dont get the line bindings, or the salomons for that matter....

ill be super rich and own mt.hood and let everybody from ns ski for free... except freezed

I rode Lines on my park ski and used them hard for about 30 days and then they went bye-bye. I use the 914 FIS on everything else. Next year with the exception of my race skis I am going to ride Line.

I love the binding when I had it on my skogens. When it broke I re-mounted with 914's and I noticed a huge difference in the way the ski worked. You can ollie huge with the reactor. I think the design is amazing and I am going to support them as much as I can. I know they had durability issues and mine were fine till I lent them out and re-adjusted them myself. Line is a company dedicated to freeskiing and needs people to support them. I'm in a posistion that I can and I have back up gear when and if they break. I'm even going to use them on my big mountain sticks.(crossing my fingers the improved binders hold).

I love Line. can you tell?

If my gf would let me I would sleep with all my sets of Lines. I get sad when I do my first railslide on new skis. I apologize to my mo-ships when I hit rocks. I keep the plastic on new sets untill the day they get mounted. and finally, I'm changing my name to Elizabeth Chronic Invader.

I have line 1260 and i love them but blew out the edge this year some im getting new skis....lines though most likely...they have done well

get the motherships with the 912 bindings and you get the better of the two skis with the better of the two bindings... not to mention a super light setup cuz moships are way lighter than seths.

my level of radness... it just can't... be quantified.
