Operating system for RED camera?

believe it or not, you actually could edit RED footage with iMovieHD and a 2tb hard drive. Here's the thing: nobody edits 4k footage (or even much 2k footage) online. As long as your computer could use RedCine to convert r3d files to HD, you could edit RED footage offline in iMovie. Not that anybody should try it, but it's possible.

That's a bit High powered tbh, I prefer just to use my mobile phone to edit the footing off my RED
