Thanks Scharff. So we did make some pretty killer progress tonight on the rails, at least it seems like it to me. freeski_shaggy and billups, painted the Suzy's skirt blue, while i finished welding a new top on the old 10' rail that usually resides in Jam Session. Which i think will be pretty cool. It is still only 10' but now it has one of Perfect's signature box tops, so it's 12" wide with 2" round coping. It sits about the same height as the old one, but i think it will be a bit more friendly. Then once that was welded we wire-wheeled it and the guys primed it as well as got the skirting painted blue. Then they wire-wheeled the other similar rail that is the 16' i believe, and they painted the top of it. So we're plugging right away on the rails and it won't be long and you'll all get to use them.
Soon on the agenda we're going to take the rails off of the staircase and get them ready for use as individuals, then we plan on having the C-Box back in commission this season. The 30' tall rail should be back as well, the 30' box is getting a new single sheet of UHMW. Double Kink is gonna get some serious lovin' because she's been abused and desperately longs to be whole again.... i can't think what else right now... oh yeah several new rails for Jam Session as well as the beginner area, including a piece of snowmaking pipe, which should be fun, some new pretty snazzy barrels, doubles and maybe even triple tall ones. I can't think of what else... oh the Trap... the trap will be the last rail we finally get to, but the hope is that we do get to it. We hope to make it a "PFC" rail meaning we get to decorate it in a Pink Flamingo Fashion, to advertise and to just have it look cool. I am at this point making no guarantees about the trap just because time is getting thin, but it is a goal of all of ours to have it done, sometime this season. As always i listen to all of your suggestions, some with a grain of salt, but none-the-less if you have a great idea you think we need to do feel free, but know that it might have to be on next season's agenda do to time constraints. We love simple ideas, that don't cost much.
