one would think it would be easier for them to over PC? simply because you can download off 2 gondolas. meaning they dont have to blow snow all the way back to the village.
inb4 everyone hates on the canyons, i dont give a fuck.
I'm headed down there tomorrow. I'll be skiing Saturday and Sunday. Where would be the best resort for some good pow? Last year when I was at alta it got chewed up pretty quickly, maybe just cause I didn't know where to go.
Brighton had good pow that stayed all day but hardly any of the mountain was open so we kept on the same runs all day.
Well i feel like there's going to be a lot more open than usual on the first day. It looks like Payday run, Treasure Hollow, Homerun, 2 runs off 3 Kings, the trail from first time to Payday, and maybe first time run. usually its just homerun. last year was the first year that 3 kings was open first day...
I don't understand why our regionals have to be the most competitive. I'm stoked chairs will be running. I'm not stoked to be the one making those chairs running on opening day at pc. The park aughtta be pretty sick from what i'm hearing though, plus hotlaps just got faster.
yeah, if i would have gone skiing today i would have gone to brighton but i did go skiing today. Fucking idiot, it ALWAYS snows more in BCC/LCC and i would never chose to ski pow at pc over brighton. Go fuck off.
Alta was blower pow goodness. My buddy went a little too hard and f'ed up his ankle after hitting a rock, but all in all it was an incredible day. Patrol just posted low coverage signs and let everyone have at it on everything under Collins/Wildcat.
indeed. a few side-stash pow turns in the morning, then an amazing opening day park in the afternoon. I wish they wouldn't have groomed Payday though, there would have been a decent amount of snow there...
