Okay.... Lets start pool. What is the date that they will have enough snow on the ground to hit some jibs with out getting arrested. I predict 11-15-07 - now with that said. Does anyone know what the Special Blend First Chair last call event is on 11-24-07 - That looks to be the official opening date. (weather permitting ahhhhhhviously)

even though i feel that only the first two or three days are accurate w/ weather reports, that's looking mighty good.

Mt Snow - Boulder new big Brother opened today, I hope this is a sign of what we can expect at Boulder.

This is from the Mt Snow website.

Current Conditions and Weather (as of Tuesday, October 30, 2007 )

Comments:

Man oh man, we had ourselves a good 'ol time on Launch Pad yesterday. Temps hovered in the 20s Sunday night, so how could we NOT play with our shiny new fanguns, all perched and ready on Launch Pad? Dave, Director of Mountain Operations, was like the little brother from “A Christmas Story” with his new zeppelin on Christmas. “Aw woopee! A fangun!” We blew for 14 hours and built up five inches at spots.

Thanks to more temps in the 20s last night, the snow has held on beautifully, and a fun box, a flat rail and a barrel bonk are still set up on Launch Pad (thanks, Gaitor). In fact, Steve from Backside Snowboards is out jibbing right now, shirking his inventory duties (he called in siiiiick, bro).

You can come up and test our snow yourself. Just stop in the season pass office under the Clocktower for a free pass and head over to Launch Pad.

Have fun.

Luke

uh huh.... itssssssssssssssssssss getttttttttttttttttinggggggggggggg colderrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

When you look at that way, yes. When you consider that it will probably be a full blown park better than most during midseason. then know. lots of people pay more and don't leave the park during the season. I would charge more.. hahahaha but then again, I am mean like that!

meh. i'll be in delaware so it doesn't matter for me anyway. plus, what can you expect? i mean its boulder haha.

The slope is going to be packed with all different kinds of skiers, but mostly park rats. I'll be there with a some kids, see you all there.

theres not much to explain..just last year the vibe was absolutely horrible haha. the people too. no offense, if anyone here's really into the scene there. i'm more bitter about going to delaware than anything else. really fucking bitter actually. yuup.

I'm going to do an edit as fast as possible monday. I have NS stickers so come see me, give my your screen name and display the sticker! hitting the road in a few minutes. see you tomorrow!

i just got back. the setup was sick. i was pretty upset wen my knee started hurting, because i really wanted to throw down today

mine got sore in the beginning of last season too. just ice it and by the end of it you won't even be noticing it.

yeah, i had a couple times where i actually thought i did re-tear it. scary shit. you know, just little tweaks that get worked out that feel really fucking shitty. oh fuck by the way, when your scar tissue starts breaking..that shit fucking hurts. but its supposed to happen. no worries. happens about a year or so after surgery. do you wear a brace? i reccommend it for the beginning of the season at least..

no i didnt wear it today. so what did you do when you got those tweaks? and when did you stop getting those little tweaks?

theres nothing you can really do..i always just took my ski off and tried to stretch my leg a little. bend it a few times, try to crack it or whatever if it needed to be cracked. i stopped getting them probably close to a year after surgery.. they just occur less over time. they suck balls though, no doubt.

so when im sliding a rail and do a switch up or like 270 off and my acl feels like its going to tear, it wont actually tear?

haha christ eddie take it easy. Wear your brace (I dont know how much it technically helps but it defnitely made me feel better in the beginning) and try to work your way up. Technically you're still recovering. Then again you have balls. That may change things. I wouldn't know.

haha eddie, seirously take it slow, i want to ski with u again this season.......creek wont be the same without u, or the bus rides up!! dont do anything where u tihnk it might tear!

i was just really concerned since heath on here said that he started hitting rails 3 months after his surgery, and he never mentioned anything about his knee hurting wenever he did rails

i skied 4 months after my surgery, you'll be fine. just wear your brace! i mean why the hell wouldn't you? im over a year out and i just wear mine anyways, just makes me feel more comfortable. its definately a mental thing.

and yo, make sure you stretch really well before skiing, thats HUGE too. you'll be fine man, just stretch/wear your brace. and if the knee gets sore, take a break or take it easy, you're only 3 months out man...

and for the record, yesterday was awesome. everybody was fucking killing it.

wish i could go back today...

Real quick hack edit. None of the footy we got was very good cuz we only shot on Saturday with piss poor light, so it doesn't really deserve too much time spent editing.

word, take it slow, theres a whole season coming up

and those edits were good. i like the one with no sound-so much better like that

sorry, been layed up. I have a ton of footage, most of it is mediorcre but yeah, your 2 on the couble is in there., nips will need to help to get stuffed compiled together tomorrow.

wow i didnt even know it opened, and ive never been there but creek is a ways off and dunno if i can make it up to VT, whats the deal with lift tickets?
