All i was talking about was putting it somewhere (i.e. github) that the more tech-savvy NSers could contribute their time to, fixing up site issues. It's a common business model, where people are employed by the site to fix things full time, but accept part-time contributions from the community as an act of good-will. This helps users stay active with the site in addition to giving the chance for the community to contribute/vote on features relevant to themselves.
It doesn't need blockchain. Consensus is central - there is only one database for voting. If ever we have a decentralized NS, in which we need to consign posts, voting and users, I'd agree to it, but otherwise, it is a poor use-case for a static site.
