Open Beverage Ticket

Since Newschoolers knows everything about laws and jail time this is probably the best place to ask.

Seriously though, I just want a quick answer I know there has to be atleast one person on here who can help.

Was at Global at Red Rocks on Friday with my friend. Both of us were walking through the parking lot drinking beer. He went to the portapottie and I kept walking. I turned around he was talking to the cops. Didn't have his ID so they gave him a $60 Open Alcohol Container ticket and a court date.

He's 18 but not 21. He got the open container fine but nothing for M.I.P since he didnt have an ID and Jeffco cops are half retard imbreds, when he goes to court what is the maximum he can get with all this? I.E. jail time, MIP, more fines what?

life in prison no parole.

just as ^ said, you knew the answer before you even made this thread. a $60 fine.

i know around here it would just be a fine, our jails are overcrowded and unless somebody does something real bad, they get fingerprinted and released

I'm pretty sure he gave the cops his address and all that stuff. I remember seeing the ticket but due to my condition I wasn't able to read the letters at the time. Thanks though, hopefully all he does have to do is pay it and its over with.

And for the two jackasses above, read my post. Obviously he can just pay the ticket but its for possesion of ALCOHOL and he is under 21 which here in the US is illegal. Dipshits.

Doesn't matter. I was stopped and searched illegally. I was a minor and they took the wrong name and didn't ask for my address. Somehow they found out who I was and sent a letter to my house. I got a lawyer and he got it reduced to 5 hours community service. Had my former teacher sign it saying I did 10 and handed it to the clerk who is a family friend. She laughed and asked me if I'd been to any good parties lately.

I've gotten out of other tickets by writing to the DA and asking for plea deals. If it's his first offense it's definitely a viable option.

settle down bro, i wasnt trying to be a dick, i was just saying cant he just send in the money and not go to court at all or does he HAVE to go to court? next time you make a thread asking questions im just gonna post some useless shit and be on my way if this is how you're gonna react

How fucking hard is it to avoid the po po.People suck at life. If you get a ticket because you're under age. just deal with it. Google the laws and penalties in your state and figure out a plan.

Learn a lesson maybe and don't be dumb

Wouldn't it be great if it was as simple as paying the fine? I doubt it is since once again he is 18, not 21. You already did post useless shit when you said "can't he just pay the fine?"
