OOTD2 fake/modded?

After watching this edit several times some of the things in this video just don't look/seem right. I believe that some of this edit has to be fake. Obviously it is set up with people standing around perfectly under his jump. Also in the cave scene it did not look like he had close to enough speed to air out of the cave. One last thought, how did the resort let him build a jump into the gondola? Why was everyone freaking out when he landed in it if they saw a jump into it? Let me know your thoughts. Can't wait to see the hate this thread gets!!!!

fuck, some of that shit is staged? god dammit, this totally means the edit sucks now and isn't as cool as it used to be.

candide is highly respected at that resort and definitely arranged to do the setups. just watch any of his videos from years ago and youll see he's slide that handrail on the deck before.

I like to think that the racer at the start was thinking "goddamit Candide does this every fucking race now. I'm just trying to pass through my gates and this asshole has to do a fucking three over me. It's like the seventh time this has happened, this is bullshit"

Clearly alot of the crazy stuff was staged but I mean did you watch the rest of the edit? Who cares. The setup stuff was rad.

Best part is how he totally blows by him too. Candide goes fucking mach 5 all the time

Exactly, in the racing run there was already tracks on his line, which means they would have blocked off his jump. It is still the best edit ever, even if some stuff is set up.

hollywood meets skiing...

eye spy when he airs past the lift shack, it looks like there is only a mom and kid on the lift and its sunset.

it would be entirely unsafe to not do professional stunts with uncontrolled environments. imaging the backlash if he hurt someone or something doing real poaching and kamikaze runs, "no one would do that..." i know from personal experience that you will be arrested for skiing out of bounds at ABASIN, lol, "the secret chute?!, you pillaged the secret chute?" yup.

Lol la clusaz is not comparable to Abasin in any sense. If you've ever skied or even been in the alps you'll see pretty much anything goes, no one is watching over your shoulder like here in the US.

However I'm not saying this stuff wasn't staged. The chair lift gap as well as the entire last line were definitely set up to look like people were surprised and scared but that doesn't matter. He threw a three off a weird little jump up on to a 2 foot wide landing in the middle of a bunch of people thats crazy.

also what was he filming with and where cause if you pause the video when you see his shadow he doesn't have a head mount and unless he did some major cropping he doesn't have a chest mount so did he shop out the helmet cam or what?

no comparison in skiable terrain or with chuck talent, i mean candide (although the secret chute is very unique for a reason, you ski under a rock bridge formation)

real poaching has real consequence

My favorite part was when he was looking up at those flying squirrels and then teleported to the top of the mountain. How did he do that? Is he a mutant and part of the X-men?

what I want to know is how the hell did he do the first shot of himself in the mirror. You can't see the camera in the mirror

Also. The last part wasn't meant to seem like no one was prepared for him (or so it seems) I mean everyone was watching and waiting. If nobody was expecting that only a few people would've been watching. The jumps were also prebuilt and probably would've been taken down if the run wasn't planned out with the resort. And the racing part I do not think was staged because if you look closely no one was watching in preparation for him to come. They were looking down at the racers

It's quite easier if you know what you're doing.

Dude of course it was staged.

The people on the chairlift he jumps past look flat and weirdly lit, but who cares. Its a video about skiing, not realistic bystanders

I've never skied in america, but here in europe there seem to be far, far fewer rules, and I'm glad of it. Getting passes pulled for going too fast and the like is unthinkable across the pond, and rightly so.

Pffft you guys are all noobs, clearly it's fake like who the fuck is actually that good at skiing? Fake420redditconfirmed
