OOHHH SHIT my new Elan M1111s

These things are massive...161 shovel. They're heavy and straight up kill people. Can't wait to mount them. Any suggestions for some wide ass bindings?

Dag yo...those are sick looking, definitely for shralping the fresh pow gnar. Look at a Sallie binding, but not a low-end one, I'd go s916 if you're core enough, haha.

Come to think of it though...I've got a set of Rossi Axial Race 140s (pivot style) with brakes I custom bent that would fit these rather nicely. Check out my thread or PM me if you're interested.

they're Elan, basicly evey eastcoast cheap rental skis are elan... they must use all that technology to make a great park ski

Coming from someone who decided to spend money on Line skis from years back I don't really know what to think about your opinion/judgement.

im pretty sure anyone on here would choose lines inovation and design over elans gimic and cheaply mass produced skis

anyone who thinks elans can't stack up are foolish. What you think the only tech they have is for rental ski's. Don't be a dipshit.

nice ski's man.

absoloutly amazing skis. dont listen to any of these stupid park rats that know nothing of powder skis. even though i am being a hippocrit cause im a park rat.

dont believe me! sick skis man!

those are amazing

and a sweeeeeeeeeeet deal at 300

lol @ the comment about the anthems

I dunno what all these fools are talking about, I bet these things will be sickter in the pow man. I mean yeah, Elan makes rental skis, but fuck... what company doesn't? Our entire rental fleet at the hill I work at are Rossignol, but guess what, tons of people swear by Rossignol skis. Wise up people, every company has different classes of skis for different uses, same with cars and most everything else made for a consumer market.

why the hate on elan? armadas were made at the elan factory, 4frnts are made there, and other companies too.

299 for nice powder skis is a steal.

i don't like elans, but i prefer the look of the M20.2 or whatverv.. the park skis they looked bombproof, but these... are just ugly

There's a whole story printed on the ski about the painting. Its a fresco called the "Dance of Death" in Slovenia to answer that dudes question.

SICK! I was the first in Canada to ski those by the way :D. I skied them in spring slush but shit they felt so solid underfoot.

And all you guys bashing Elan, I don't blame you because that's what I used to think but they make some sick skis. The M02 is the nicest park ski I've ever owned - yes, the third edge is a total gimmick but they are so solid. Elan makes reantal skis? Guess what else they make... ARMADA.

sweet deal man, they fucking rip by the way, you'll love em.

oh and stfu you hating fools and learn about skiing.

u forget most people think that a ski sux if its not good on rails on this site, have fun with those bad boys

they were stiff to begin with, but really softened up towards the middle of the season, to the point they were softer than my t-halls. They were a really durrable ski, but a but on the heavy side. People say Elan sucks, but over half of them havent ridden an Elan ski. They are really solid, fun, and durrable skis.

i swear newschoolers gets funnier every time i come on here.

STOP TALKING SHIT ABOUT SOMETHING YOU KNOW NOTHING ABOUT!

elan makes super high quality skis. last time i checked salomon, rossignol, dynastar, k2, all make cheap ass skis too!

Rossi/Look wide brakes are 120mm so just bend those out a little. I had some really wide Salomon ones a while ago that looked about the same. Elan/Tyrolia do make a really wide binding that fits but I had a very bad experience with Elan 14's on my old M02s so I wouldn't recommend them.

i believe salomon are bringing out a new binding to fit their rocker ski. that might work well, should be sweet, i think its a lightened 916 with a 130mm brake??

duct tape works great i hear! seriously though i have no idea. they're fuckin huge. you're going to love them when it dumps out. i always wanted a pair with swallow tails but im on the EC. no need here

If you're going for a Tyrolia binding, go for a FF+17 or whatever the equivalent is now. The Mojo still has a lot of plastic as far as I know. I had Elan 14's (Tyrolia) on my M02s and I ended up being able to kick my toe out vertically with very little effort. The Elan rep said he'd had the same thing happen to a few pairs of his own. Plus the heel track gets loose on most Tyrolias.

Yea dude, just get a look/rossi binding, or a salomon 9 series, and don't worry about it. You could buy a tyrolia or head binding if you wanted to but why? Just get a look/rossi or solly and know that you made a sensible purchase. Bend the brakes a bit, done.
