I can't believe they're finally letting us go shred. I've had opening days and rowdy pow days out west, but I don't think I've ever been more excited than I am now. Gonna go rip Glen Eden on Tuesday, and I am belligerently stoked about ripping 180' of icy park.
 
Fuck ya I'm stoked for you guys. My mom has been going mental with the amount of snow they've had at their place in Collingwood. The ski hills just staring her in the face.

Where will all the employees come from to run the place how can they expect people to wait around until now for work.

I've got no idea what they're doing with the staff. I've been working at a ski shop, and the past month and a half have been absolute hell. Of all the seasons to move back east, I had to do this one.
 
I can understand why places in EU were closed cause everywhere in the alps has gondolas and trams everywhere

but telling people it's not safe cause of covid to go ride a chairlift in the wintertime on a windy mountain is so fucking stupid. I honestly think the government should be encouraging people to go ski because it's the perfect social distancing activity, and everybody wears masks anyway. They should be paying us to ski so that we aren't tempted to go to a small indoor gathering

It's complete bullshit. I'm pretty sure a couple of hills here are having to shut down permanently because of this.
