What schools are known for being the best online schools?

And to who goes to online school howd you convince your parents?

you can take online classes through any school pretty much. I wouldn't recommend trying to get a degree online though, It would be very hard to get through.
If you just need a class or two, pick a state school near you and i bet they have it.

im only a sophmore in highschool and potentially have a park crew job this winter. I would only be doing it this upcoming year and then full running start for 1st and 3rd trimester and then winter off to shred.

+k for help

I was gonna take a few shitty classes online, ask your own school about it, like your counselor or principal

I took spanish online once. Most of the time I was on here instead. It's really easy but getting help is difficult at times.

Got in a lot of trouble in freshman year, was failing all my classes so my mom put me in Treka. IT SUCKED ASS! Yeah it was kinda tight but after a month its the worst thing ever. Every time you call your friends when they get out of school they all already have plans cause they were all hanging out at school. I wouldn't recommend it unless your an anti social freak who rather be alone all day then suck up the bull shit at school and kick it with everyone all day while you go through the same shitty school work.

well id be doing it to live at the mountain, and id rather shred all day with my homies then chill with school friends,

Well in that case tell your parents that it would be easier for them to follow and help you with your school work. If you want you can finish classes/grades as fast as you want. You work at your own pace not the teachers so you actually learn the material given to you instead of just memorizing it.

Anything to live at and shred a mountain tell them all the crap they want to here.

I took a summer class online through a local school, most colleges offer online courses, so if you're looking for part time online, just check your local colleges

its the best shit ever, ive been doing it for a year or so and its bomb as hell... its pretty flexible too, i finish like a month of my school work in a week - then i just go out and chill with friends that are out of highschool or go skiing. i also have some extra time and i do promotional work for companies like vitaminwater on a local level.... so all in all i stay pretty damn busy! t. It was really really hard leaving my friends at school, but i still see em' a lot so its all good.

i graduated already but im doing an english 12 course online, not suuper hard as far as the schoolwork is concerned but im finding it really hard to stay focused and do my work .

if you think you have the discipline to keep yourself on track its really good

If you're still in high school I'd go talk with your counselors at school. Most states usually have a preferred online school. Depending on what classes you're taking, it could be easy and it can be very hard. I took 3 courses online in high school. 2 were super easy and the other was harder than taking it in a classroom. Unless you're really self motivated you will fall behind and it's a bitch to do 15 assignments in a week. So if you are super tired when you get off the hill it's going to be tough to get your work done. It's an awesome thing but you have to take it serious or you won't pass. As for your parents, I'd tell them you learn more online than in class because you're forced to find the answers yourself and learn the content. Not to mention it's not too different online than in a class.
