Well round #1 has officailly come to an end, but we're firing up round #2 immediately. This round will be street jibs of any sort. So everything is in and please feel free to use your creativity when doing your tricks.

For voters, lets vote these based on overall impression. So the trick should have difficulty, be stylish, creative, etc... but vote it based on what you feel inside.

Remember when you're voting on something to give yourself what judges call a "range". This means that the worst trick of the day should score a 1 and the best trick of the day a 9. Its only once in a blue moon that you actually give a 10, and the only reason you do that is if the last trick is so much better than the 9 you gave for the other perfect trick. Don't give something a 7 if you sort of liked it, give it a 3.

That will allow for breathing room when you're doing your judging.

jea, sounds like a plan. Definitly sweet that there is going to be a lot of contests so it's not just one guy wins the only comp and prizes.
 
Yeah I'm going to start making a spreadsheet of all the results too... we can track who has done well overall and post it up at the end of the year!

 
Oh yeah for sure man. Soooooo many people on here have crazy backyard setups that we almost have to!

For those wondering, its up to you whether you use a creative jib or gnarly rail... depends on what you think the public will like best!

im sorry i think its lame as hell that ced posted a shot from long story. you already won the last round, and then you go posting a shot from a pro video? come on dude.

Man why? This is just a fun contest... you don't need to stress. Look at the guy, he said he'll give his prize to runner up if its the same prize.

Plus contests are open to all, and this is a contest to find out who is the best. Why should we tell Ced he can't post just because he's good? Thats like saying "Ok lets have a comp for all the bad people... if you're good you're not invited."

Just throw your clip up... its not like this is a huge deal!

soo if you went to a comp one day and saw it was a super fun/sick setup but there were guys there better than you would you not enter because you know you will lose??that's soo gay just throw it up there for the viewers entertainment....get your name on there or something......stress a little less
 
sorry for the dub post but i'm actually happy that ced put that in there because 1....it's a rail in my territory and 2...it reminded me of how dope that segment was and got me to go watch lss again

Ok, I,ve been thinking about it and I believe the best way to make sure the contest is legit is o have everyone post the vids during a certain amount of tim and then wait after a certain deadline for submition before anyone can start rating the vid.

this way a vid that was posted 3 hours before the the deadline for the contest and voted 3 times at 10 by friends would not win the contest.

By the way that switch up thing is amazing.
 
I think the contest should deal with footy with proof positive that it happened since the launch of the contest.

That way, everyone has time to throw down, no digging into archives for a trick that either took forever or is too unique to be done by the average joe with no possibilities, or something that's been seen before.
 
yea but not as many people have the chance to go out and film every week for the contest. a dope shot is a dope shot, whether it was filmed 2 hours before it was submitted or 2 years before.
