So we're up to round #5 in the online contests... and for this round we're going to change things up a bit.

The theme of this round is creativity. So do a cool bomb drop, butter, cliff, tree, whatever you want. Just expand your mind and do something Neato! Hell jib your cat for all I care...

Last round's winner is still being decided. There was some shifty practises right at the end of the contest, so I'm waiting for the data from Paul to make sure we've got a legit winner.

The other thing that is going to change for this round is that we're going to allow uploading at first, but no voting. So you've got until next Wednesday at noon to get your videos online, at which time we'll open up the voting!

Oh, and lets make this one that you HAVE to shoot it between now and the contest. Just say something into the camera or have your filmer claim on the date or say "Newschoolers contest" or something like that!

 
Jea, so much potential for this one. "jib you cat for all i care" bahahaha, that line is epic doug. I'm also stoked that it needs to be filmed within the time limit of the contest and especially on the new voting format.
 
Oh and btw i think it should be made brutally clear to everyone that while a cool trick is sweet it must also be creative and judging should coincide.
 
k so I got somethign to ask cause UI already had that one planned and it's gonna be epic is it ok if it's two feature really close together kinda like they did in thanks brain?

So stoked for this one! It is pouring rain right now in Laax, the hills were closed for the first time this season! We are expecting a few feet of fresh snow next week. The pow is badly needed and will allow me to film a few radical features!

Hey Bishop, disqualify people if they don't have something to prove that their video is from the week of the contest.
 
Hey Mr. Bishop, wanna let me enter even though my footage is from a month ago? My season ended and I can't ski until June. Help me?
 
good call, way to many old video's being reposted that dont even have any relation to the contest.
 
I filmed mine last week at our only booter sesh of the year, didn't claim the date so you can DQ me if you want, but none of us entered shots on the booter we hit that day because that contest was closed so this should be in the right time frame... mad oopsies.
 
i am gonna try and get something filmed and posted up by this evening, when does the contest close for submissions? i know today but when exactly?
 
Lol... I'm actually on top of this one! Plan was to close the contest at noon today.

However, we don't have that many entries... what do you guys think should we close or extend?

 
Yea i'd say get rid of the entry that dosnt respect teh rules, get tanaka to upload only one of these crazy stairs jib, erase teh non-youtubeversion of the ironbonkcross and extend it for a day and we should be set.

and dont forget to ship my stuff :) with a bunch of stickers.

Alright, its official... we're extending one more day!

The contest will close tomorrow at noon now, so rush out there and get your entries in!

Also yeah I did have to delete the one that was an edit. Pick one of the jibs you did and enter it in as a single entry! I thought that staircase stuff was sweet!

 
i know i'm being a bit bitchy but i thought something had to be said about "the contest" in the actual raw footage. i'm not even in the contest but i was just wondering if that rule was being disregarded or what?
