so heres the deal...

i am buying line shadows and look bindings off the internet. they're from different websites and when i get them i have to mount them. Who would do that? i know a ski shop, but doesn't that shop have to carry that brand to do it? i can't buy them if i can't even put them together. i've never done it myself and wouldn't think about doin it bc chances are i'll screw it up. so i just wanted to know how that works out. Thanks

Iit only depends on the brand binging they carry, or are certified to work on. So go over to them today and ask em' if they will mount look bindings for you. The ski brand and type does not matter.

ya ski brand doesn't matter, what matters is what jigs the shop has for bindings. different companies of bindings use different jigs to mount their product, and so a shop can only mount certain bindings. however, if you have a good shop, you can often get them to mount your bindings even if they don't have that jig. the only reason they wouldn't is because of legal issues, so just don't sue them.

You should be fine. Every shop should be certified for rossi/look bindings and if there not they probably dont deserve your business. The ski brand doesn't matter its just wether or not they have the template and the DIN chart for rossi/look. You will be fine taking them to a shop to be mounted sometimes they charge a bit extra since you dint buy them from them but no big your still gonna save money. And I wouldnt bother do your own mount its easy to screw up unless you have seen it down and have the jig and all.
