Ok, so my friend wants to get into skiing. He has like $500 to spend and his parents will most likely pay for part of them. Anyways, wat are some good do everything skis that are fairly cheap? I was thinking this years S3s, last years Elizabeths cause theyll be cheaper, Alpha 1s, Alpha 2s, and maybe CoreUPT Richard Permans. Any other ideas or opinions would be great. Thanks.

Apparently. i know its not much. but i can almost surely get my parents to chip in for hopefully boots and bindings. Xmas presents. Just tell me wat skis would be good plz.

All good suggestions. keep em coming. Hes like 5'6, 125lbs and hes just getting into skiing, but he boarded for years before and hes picking up skiing real fast. i was thinking something in the 170ish range would be good. If anybody has reviews on these skis that would be great.

I didnt even think about ON3P, dont know why. I just looked at the Jeronimos, they look perfect for him. perfect price also. thanks guys.

S3 no doubt the rocker will help him so much with the balance part so he doesnt develope aback seat habbit doing anything

Rossi S3 for sure. alittle over the budget but its the best "go anywhere do anything" ski ever made. In the past i would have said the Seth, but I spent a week skiing the S3 and i'm sold. if your looking for a good price on a set check out www.aspenskiandboard.com. I'm pretty sure you can pre order the 177, or just fire them an email, they will give you the best price.

Good luck Bro.

Im gonna try and get him to get Jeronimos. theyre cheaper, plus i want to see how good ON3P is since tons of people swear by them. :)
