One ski quiver

What do you guys thing is the best "do-it-all" ski (like the ARV, Blend, or Kung Fujas) for me? I weigh 105 lbs, and im about 5'6". I ski in the East if that's any help. I wanna ski that can do everything, and is still good in the park. Thanks.

since you are 105lbs, the ARV or fuja idea you had would be good. You really shouldn't need anything wider than that at all. ARVs are a fun one ski quiver for sure. Maby Watch Lifes would be a good choice since you are in the east?
 
the kung fujas would be an awesome one quiver ski i had an epic debate when i bought new skis last year and it was between these and the obsetheds i didnt get the fujas only becasue i decied to go wider but they sound perfect for where your riding.
 
09 blends are super versatile and fun as hell! real good one ski quiver for all types of terrain in all types of conditions.

also, do as mtsrskier says and check out some on3p skis... i've heard such good things about them.
 
just a little info, you may want a ski that is stiffer than the kung fujas because the east coast has a lot of crud and ice. the fujas is made for softer snow and park.
 
sorry for the double, but volkl bridge would be a good choice, or if youre more park oriented the volkl wall will be perfect. they are a bit stiffer, but have a lot of action and plenty of pop. plus they will power through any crud on the east coast.
 
i think the volkl walls or the line invaders are a good choice, both handle really well on the mountain, they have good flex to them, they glide well in powder, cut ive well and they are both great skis to butter and hit rails with, i know all from personal experiance, and i dont know if money is an issue for you but i know of at least 5 sites where you can get the 09 invaders for 180$ if you would like me to send em to you just pm me

invaders make about as good a 1 ski quiver as ep pros!
go for the bridges or jeronimos.
i love on3p, so i really want you to support scott, but i have and love bridges cause theyre sick as aids
 
okay, i looked at the Jeronimo, but I wasn't really looking for rocker, so how does that affect its performance on the days when there is no powder (which will be most, in my case)? Also, would 171 be too long for me, cuz i'm only 5'6"ish
 
The jeronimo has pretty low rocker. At least 1cm lower than all of our pow skis. The whole idea was to give a little rocker for the skis so that buttering was easier and they would provide a little more playfulness in soft snow, but without taking away their ability on hardpack. We wanted the rocker to be low enough so that when you are flexing the ski, the sidecut still engages in front of the rocker.

This spring, my hard pack skis had 25cm x 2cm rocker tip and tail and I never had an issue, and the Jeronimo is 1cm lower than that.

I personally don't think a 171cm would be too long for you at 5'6". Close to center mount = easy to throw around.

That is my take, at least.
 
i don't know, but maybe bridge are a bit too stiff for your weight, anyway if you prefer a good all-round, hard charging and stiff ski, they're good, especially for the icy east coast conditions (they've a really wide tip, so they perform quite good in low to medium powder)

i guess line cronic cryptonite are also a good choice to check, or liberty hazmat, i've read they are a kind of one ski quiver type as well

just choose following your preferences: stiff-soft, wide-midwide, simmetrical-directional so you can narrow your research
 
center mount will make them feel a bit shorter. im also 5'6" and am getting 169 walls for a do everything ski. you can find them (the 08/09 ski) new for $325 on ebay or christysports.com
 
medium/medium stiff

stiff enough that you'll be able to rock them everywhere and kill it and soft enough that you can still jib/butter and just be plain playful in the park.
 
it may not be labeled a "one ski quiver" type of ski but the AR6 handles ice/groomers pretty well and it's good in the park as well. if you don't get more than 5+ inches on a pow day than they would work well for you
 
So long as you don't go with Invaders, almost all of the suggestions above are good choices. The Jeronimo would be about as versatile of a ski as you can get, and the price right now is ridiculously awesome. Other good choices would include Line Blends, ARVs, maybe you can still find some old Rossi Scratch BCs or Brigades too.
 
Yep don't worry about the rocker, it will actually make riding park more fun. The Armada Alpha 1's are rockered and some of the best pow skis out there. Jeronimos would be perfect for what you want, ON3P's an awesome company, that makes some of the highest quality skis. Plus at a $400 pre-order price that will be probably the cheapest you can find.
