One ski quiver?

Went in to my local shop today to have a look around for a ski that will be able to rip the groomers and the park.I like both the Line Chronics and the K2 Extremes. I'm 5'7"ish and 145-150lbs. So I'd probably get the 169 in the Extremes or the 171 in the Chronics (they also have the 166, but i hear line skis are actually shorter than measured). I can get really good deals on both. I've heard great things about the Chronics, cant find as much info on the Extremes though (only that they are a bit heavier). Tech in shop says he has been getting great feedback on them though. Opinions?

i need it to be good in crud too though. this will be a one ski quiver, so it has to be able to do park, groomers, crud, and light pow. also, any opinions on where to mount? since this will be all mountain, i was thinking like -2 or -3?

check out the bluehouse MR, it's 93 underfoot for pow and crud, relatively stiff but with poppy tails, and designed mainly for parkif you mount that at like -2 from true it should kill it everywhere

I was looking for the same thing (but a little more pow oriented) and i got the 4frnt VCTthey are sick100 underfoot and great for everything, the rip in the park!great skiget 'em

i have the chronic (181) and love it. i cant say anything about the k2 but I dont have any complaints about the chronic. but i dont ski much park.

i would definitely look at something 90-100 in the waist. a directional ski would fit you well.

check out Line Blends.

The Bluehouse MR. 171's are pretty sick. They seem like they would fit the bill for ski that skis very well in the park, but has the cut and diameter to go in some pow. I was looking at some reviews of their skis, and my one concern is their durability, but it sounds like now that they are on their second year the issues have been worked out for the most part. Does anybody have any experience with these?

im in the exact position as you.

but i bought some anthems instead of chronics because they're less stiff than chronics...i dont know if i made a good choice or a bad one. i got a good deal on them though.

I was thinking anthems could do park AND mainly just everything around the resort(thats groomers and crud right?)

where do you ski dude (east, west)? what type of snow? if you aren't doing much deep powder, chronics are a damn good all around park /all mountain ski

Line Blend
100mm underfoot, the coolest graphic this season, and it's Line so it will be a quality product
slays it all

Blends. A friend of mine has them as his one ski quiver and he raves about them. "A freestyle ski with freeride geometry" as the Line product video puts it.

I guess it's also a plus that the ski looks completely awesome.
