One Night In SLC, What to Do?

I am currently in Nevada on a business trip, and will be flying from SLC home to Denver on Friday morning. I am headed back to Utah tomorrow, and should be in the city around 3. I am staying right downtown.

What do I have to do in SLC if i'm only there for one night?

Whats the best place for me to get drunk by myself?

Any and all recommendations will be considered.
 
Twist has been the spot lately, Sounds like a gay bar, but it isnt.

Karaoke night is at the bourbon house, used to pop off with skier/ college crowd but then they re did it and started kicking all the homies out so they could get an older crowd.

Beer bar is probably the best bar to go to by yourself.

Other than that check the hoodcrew snapchat in case we go out haha.

also where in NV are you on business if you are driving back to SLC to fly back to Denver and what type of business?
 
I personally don't love twist, but Johnnys/Beer Bar/Bar X are three bars in a row, they're pretty fun. Second Beer Bar though.

I hear Brewvies is alright. Beer and movies. Brewvies. Never been, so I can't speak for it really.

I am in Elko. I am an engineer for Babcock & Wilcox. We build boilers and associated shit. I have been doing some work for Newmont Mines out between Elko and Battle Mountain.

that makes sense. Elko is my hometown so i am all too familiar with the mines. i actually work at an engineering firm doing material handling and what not now in salt lake and we've done some work with barrick out there as well. also where i used to intern back in my college days. i had a feeling it was something like that if you weren't in Reno
 
Go to Jack-a-lope and get wasted until last call (1:00) then stumble over to Pie Hole and eat dank pizza by the slice and play Ms. Pacman until 3 in the morning.
 
Also, can anyone fill me in on the weird booz laws? Is it correct saying if i want the good stuff, beer wise, stick to the bottles? All drafts are 3.2% or something like that?

yup and to get "real" beer you need to go to the state store otherwise all the shit in gas stations/grocery stores is that 3.2 piss water

I would say, either do this or Brewvies, or both.
