Alright I live out east and I can get a sweet ass deal from liberty for some new skis. I am almost 6 foot tall and live out east. I was thinking about 180cm skis but all my friends say thats way to long for me and I should go with 170cm. I am a good skier and I actually instruct at my local mtn. Will goin 10 cm longer affect my park and pipe ability?

If you're 6' tall and weigh anywhere above 150 you need to get the longer skis. 10cm won't affect your ability to spin unless you just like to whip your body around to do 540s over 10' jumps. Plus 170 will look far too short on you.

Jeff: Hey Geoff, did Ronny tell you not to wear any boxers so he could rape you better?

Geoff: No, I just put my boxers on backwards so the hole is in the back...it's alot easier that way.

'I'm in his nigger crew' (my little brother in response to my statement that he was in my 'digger crew')

'My knee hurts' (Jeff Merat after grinding a lunch table for an hour instead of sitting in the ski patrol shack for his torm mcl and acl which he got earlier that day.)

'I'm not asking for any help, just maybe for you to get off your ass.'(my dad)

Depends if you're a heavy guy or not. If you weigh like 180 pounds you're best off with 180cm. If you're less than 160 lbs then maybe the 170s would be good (well 175s would be better than 170 if you can get em, cuz you are pretty tall)

a lot of people say 'it's gonna line up to your eyes' or stupid shit like that. That's wrong. It's both height and weight that matter.

I would say go with the 170s, but I personnaly like a bit shorter skiis. A lot of guys like em a bit longer. Depends on your style and what you think you'd like best.

Demo em both if you can. Easyiest way to find out.

They don't make a 175-ish size?

Dunno. I don't claim to be a skiing guru. I just like to read up on skiing and research shit so alot of what I know is from the web or asking pro shop guys. Probably best to ask someone who knows their shit a bit better than me.

i am 6'4' and about 190lbs. i always ski 190's or try to. i am affraid if i go smaller i will just over power the skis. plus, longer skis go faster, and usually more stable at higher speeds.

AK forever

im 6'3, 150 and i have no problem spinning my 180's in the park. plus, the speed and stabilty forementioned are more reasons to go longer.

fat people should avoid buffets

Well see this is a problem, should I go liberty stealth (180cm) or the new ar5's (176cm)...will 4 cm even make a difference?

flex will have an impact too. tanner's a shrimp and skis fine one the 180 ar5s. i'd say that if you consider yourself advanced or want to do more actually skiiing, get 180, if you're more of a beginner or ski predominantly park, go a little shorter. i'm sure you'll have fun with either pick.

Life sucks, get a fucking helmet

just get what u r more comfortable with. if u have skied different sizes b4. it is my feeling that as long as u r in control u can't go too long.

word anything in the 175-180 range will be good.
