hey this year im thinkin of getting one park ski just for messing around on rails and jibs and small jumps, and one for big jumps and stuff. ive had invaders before, so im really thinkin those, plus like some amplid's, stl's, or maybe even anthems in a 179 since they are stiffer and wider.

which may make them stiffer, i know for sure that invaders are softer, i skiied two seperate pairs of anthems multiple times and they are quite a bit stiffer. there's no question. im guessing its the extra wood that makes them stiffer.

what about the kung fujas? it seems like that would be a pretty fun jump ski, plenty of width to be super stable. whats the flex and weight like? i dont want an extremely soft or extremely stiff ski just a medium poppy flex. and weight doesnt bother me too much on jump's, i think it helps keep you composed a little on bigger jumps to have a little weight, but i dont want them to be like maiden's or hellbent weight, but something more like elizabeth weight id be happy with.

Moment reno rockers for your fun ski, or atomic urban punx...and maybe antidogmas or suspects or reno jibs for you're big jump ski

Dude are you serious???

You can just get one ski that will be great for both, essentially you want 2 park skis, one stiff and one flexy??? There is so much overlap there you might as well just get one ski. It's not worth the extra money unless you are a rich little fuck and your parents pay for everything!

Why don't you get one ski for park and one ski for all mtn. or big mtn. or pow. Don't start a quiver with 2 skis that are so similar. You don't need like a super stiff ski for big jumps, it's not necessary. I've seen people throw down on Anthems, or Fujatives or Invaders in big jumps and be aboslutely fine, and those skis are super soft. So do yourself a favor and get one ski for park, and one ski for something other than park, maybe you will learn how to ski out of the park in the process.

i always have to buy 2 pairs of park ski's per year, cause i always brake one, ive got invaders for now that are good, but they have lost all camber and chunks of the edges are falling out, so im thinking ill get one pair of stiffer jump ski's, and use my invaders for days when i know im gonna be doing only rails. and if only if my invaders brake, then ill get another soft ski.
and i was using ivaders all year on 60-70 footers and they just really arent too stable for that, they are fine for up to around 40-50 footers, but anything much bigger and you just loose all stability, i went all year doing terrible on the bigger line, then i tried my friends pipe cleaners, and i was doing shit i wasnt able to do all season, first try. so thats why i want a more jump oriented ski, maybe i can get 2 seasons out of it if i dont hit much rails on it.

just get a stiff park ski. ive been on fischer addicts all last year and put a good 70+ days on them and i just have a few edge cracks

line chronic if your leaning towards a stiff ski or a salomon suspect for a medium flex. Both would be one ski that does everything.

Ahh I see. I probably came off as kind of a dick so sorry for that.

You could try to get a pair of park skis from a company with good warranty and that are fairly stiff such as Moment Reno Jibs I think, or Volkl's and Heads tend to be on the stiffer side of things but are also a lot more pricey. You could also look at the Bluehouse skis before they sell out, I dunno about flex but I'm sure you can ask somebody who got theirs or the guy who runs it, I think his ns name is Bluehouse.

Are you on east coast or west or?

Oh damn man do yourself a favor and buy a huge rockered pow ski, and then a pair of stiff park skis with a good warranty so they will last.

Here's some pow ski options:

ARG

Donner Party (So dope)

Hellbent

Comi

Praxxis

Bluehouse (Maven or Shoot)

Chopstick

yeah ive got live life 2's but im thinking of selling them for something rockered, i was thinkin maybe the chris benchetler ski's or something, or maybe ep pro's if i want something super soft. i was thinking of arg's but i think the jp vs juliens would be better cause they arent so pow specific, i saw them in person and they seem like something you could just be hopping around in powder with spinning off everything, they are super light and poppy.
right now im thinking, keep my invaders, hopefully they last awhile, for my main park ski, get either the kung fujas, or maybe something skinnier like antidogma's or the suspects. but i really think the kung fujas will be an awesome more jump oriented park ski. and it would be sweet for the days when i feel like just cruizing around jibbing everything, not just the park.

hmmm

What you could do is use your invaders for park stuff and jibbing and just not the big hits.

Then get a stiff midfat ski for park (100 or so in the waist) if you are comfortable with wider skis, which you will get used to easily, I ride my Bacons in the park and they are a blast, a bit harder to spin, and I'm not great at park so take what I say with a grain of salt haha. You would also be able to use this ski for all mountain and even a bit of pow assuming you don't mount it too close to center.

Then since you'd already have a jibbing/park/urban ski, and a midfat that can handle big hits, and all mountain you could get a pow only ski, and since you already have 2 other skis you could get a reverse sidecut ski for pow, although I'd only reccomend reverse sidecut if you already have 2 other pairs of skis, one being a midfat. So you could go ARG's or Donner Party's which would be great in pow.

This would be expensive though, but if you have the money then having a 3+ ski quiver is really nice, if you can't get 3 skis you could always go with like Hellbents, and then a stiff park ski with a more narrow waist, because the Bents would be able to ski all mountain if you really want to, well at least more than a reverse sidecut ski.

This guy knows what's up. Check out the Line Blends. They are a little on the softer side, but still stiff enough for what you want.
