^I think that statement needs to be refined, seasoned smokers can seem normal no matter how fucked they are, lightweights (and or people who ask questions like the one this thread is based on) can and will look and act very baked in heaty situations.

I disagree man, I've never really understood the whole, 'you don't get fucked up your first time claim' despite the fact that many people say that. I guess it's possible that people don't inhale their first time or some shit like that but otherwise how can you possibly explain it scientifically? Can you honestly say that the first time you inhale an intoxicant your body should completely ignore it and the second time it should have an entirely different, much more pronounced effect? That doesn't make any sense whatsoever. Lastly I would like to say that the first time I puffed I got ripped out of my mind, it was the first and only time that as in many stereotypical exagerations I was actually tripped out by my own hand.

davidh, of course people get high there first time. i know plenty. it just depends on the their tolerance and how much they smoke. i got high my 3rd time, my friend got high his 1st.
