Once in a Lifetime Storm Coming

I was reading in the newspapaer today and stumbled across an article describing this system that will be moving into the west soo. Apparently, three seperate fronts are all going to collide and produce some heavy precipitation around the Tahoe area and much of the rest of America. Apparently, the 'Pineapple Express' from Hawaii, the 'Arctic Express' From Canada and some other front coming from the Gulf of Mexico are all going to colide and just puke snow everywhere. Theres sup-posed to be some serious snofall in the Tahoe are coming Jan 7-10 if your in Tahoe, so enjoy.

 
My friend just told me Hood is predicted to get 5 feet over the next couple of days.

i live in illinois and for the past week its been rainy and fifty, a storm started last night and we got about five inches so far, and supposed to get like another foot! thats like the most snow weve had the past couple of years combined

I hope we don't get hit that hard considering that kind of snow would close most lifts and terrain, unless we got it over the course of a week. Alta was sick today thats all I know

We havent even been getting rain, were having high pressure with temps in the negatives. Its sunny and cold every day. And for your information Discovery basin(one of my local ski areas) only has about 20 inches, and thats at 7,000 feet.
