sooo, we're all up on scott's dick and all, i mean everyone who posts regularly in here has on3p in the signature (me too)
so who actually has some?
i ordered a pair of caylors myself
 


ON3P sucks. LOL at grass skis. Ok so you put metal edges and then slid a rail, sparks flare up. What do you think will happen to the skis? They will catch on fire burning you to a crisp with them. Mark my words ON3P skis will be the number 1 killer on the mountain this year~

All the skis look well done and I would like some BG's. The ON3P name though could of been better though. I think companys do better when they have a client base that can relate to the name. How many people grew up on 13th and proctor or can even relate to where that is? I just think if the name were to be something that more people can relate to then you get that many more sales. Personaly I think the name should of had something to do with the whole PNW or something.

in all fairness, the name was never conceived in an attempt to sell tons of skis by Scott, it came about from something he knew, somewhere where he had a lot of experiences, and was basically just the name he gave to his project that started in his garage. it was catchy, and it stuck and personally i cant imagine a better name for it.

the name ON3P is significant to us because it reminds us of our company roots. yes we are in a factory now, but the name ON3P brings me back to last year when we were in a 300 sq ft. single car garage in tacoma, to trading PMs with Scott for hours about ski design and our dreams and aspirations for what was then just a group of kids who wanted to make some skis for ourselves, and what is now a legit company who's goal is make a quality product for the masses to enjoy as much as we ourselves do. we do it out of the love we have for the sport, and for the people that have helped us get to where we are now.

to us, ON3P is a lot more than just a street name, it represents what we as individuals are able to accomplish and what we have accomplished. we are reminded of it everyday, and we wouldnt have it any other way.

 
And sam likes to eat some hay, and sit down by the bay, oh hey. What did you say? Something about yay? No way, let's play. And yes sam is gay. Did you see him and clay? I think sam even had to pay.

Caylors job should be outsourced. You can hire at least 500 six year old malaysians who will work twice as hard as him~
 
That's a legit response... Your first sentence threw me off though. "in all fairness, the name was never conceived in an attempt to sell tons of skis by Scott." If the goal of the buisness is not to sell a ton then your response makes sense. I think most company have their eyes on making money so to have a better name to sell more skis only makes sense.

Don't get me wrong ON3P is the shit and would love to ski a pair or even help make em someday! I guess I'm trying to say a differn't name that more people could relate to would stoke way more people and potentialy sell more skis. Cheers
 
To clarify what he meant - I was over 2 years into this before anyone really thought about trying to make this career. For those first two years, it was just about making skis for a few friends. That was it. I was in college and it was just a project I was doing in my free time. Literally when we started I was planning on make seven pairs or something. But as the idea grew and grew it became something much more and by that point the name meant so much to me and everyone else involved, there was no changing it. At this point, it is definitely a business and one we hope is successful. We live and die by sales like every other business out there. Maybe a different name would have had a different/better response, but a big part about growing a business is about creating a brand. Changing the name at this point would really mess with that.
 
^^^ Since I'm quiting my job that I've had for six and a half years to ski bum in Revelstoke this year. I will be looking for work come summer/winter so this could be a option.
