14628054:BLandz said:I feel like you’re probs trolling but just in case:
Theres no chance some mf named NSCrip69 has even rode enough skis in his life to know whats better out of all 3 skis mentioned. Plus moments are the same price as on3p lmao
I rode poachers the season before I rode my jeffery’s. The Jeffs changed the way I view skis and how they ride. The difference is night and day.

14628052:BLandz said:I get what youre saying so I cant call it a bad take but I still disagree. The quality is noticeably better all around. Topsheets don’t chip, sidewalls don’t blow out, tips wont delam (that one dude doesn’t count). Is not like buying a regular ass pair of sunglasses with a gucci logo on the side, its like buying a regular ass pair of sunglasses with a gucci logo on the side that can give you x ray vision and see thru walls and shit.
Plus they are core af

14628087:Lenny- said:That's false, schizoskiers pair only survived like 20 days before getting their sidewall blown out. He is sorta the arbiter of durability for ON3P.
Also ON3P ≠ core. For the price of a pair of ON3Ps you could get a fresh pair of Vs and a fresh pair of Gucci sunny's and have $50-$200 to spare.

14628148:hamsauce said:You get what you pay for. And what you pay for is:
- A really fun, high performing ski
- An extremely well built, durable ski. Seriously. Ive taken mine through literal rock fields. For me, ON3Ps last twice as any lines, factions, or armadas ive owned. Second to None, only other competitor maybe Moment
- Support of the ski industry
- Incredible Warranty. What other company (again, maybe Moment) spends time on forums and personally replies to threads on delams offering a new pair. My Jeffs had a wonky tune, and after a single email I got a 5 paragraph essay response on things I could try, then a week later got a call making sure I solved the issue and they were skiing well. ON3P prides themselves on having the best made product, and their reputation of making sure every customer is happy on their skis shows.
- Best looking topsheets and bases on the market.
So go ahead, name a comparable ski to the Jeff 100. And I will tell you why paying the extra $200 to $300 is worth it. I am not a fanboy because of the hype. Name any other brand that has the a new ski for MSRP under $450 (half of what a new jeff is, and your claim is you can find one for half the cost) that has the same durability, performance, customer support, local company, and topsheets.
Also factory finds exist. Wait until the springtime and get some brand new jeffs for $550. So by that logic, you need to find a brand new ski on sale for $275 that is better than the jeff 100. And no, line honeybadgers dont count.

I would agree moments are a decent substitute but honestly the price difference isn’t that substantially different and from personal experience they aren’t alway the most durable.
14628212:NSCrip69 said:You really think ON3P would deny a buyout from a conglomerate? The owner would cash out tomorrow if he could. Probably doesn’t generate enough profit to get a good offer though.
what I’m saying is don’t buy a ski just because the company is independently owned. That can change overnight.
14628214:Thegenericskier said:i find that every (forgive the use of the word core) MSU skier trying to fit into the "core" group that is in with ski culture buys ON3P to flex that they are in the core part of ski culture using ON3P as a status symbol of their coreness. for that reason i find they lean to the overrated side as most MSU skiers i've met that mention they own ON3Ps cannot slide a rail yet talk the most about how epic of a skier they are.
14628150:hamsauce said:How the fuck are Wildcats and MSPs "Half the cost" of ON3Ps. Those are both good skis, but the Wildcat is MSRP $829, which is $70 less than MSRP Jeffs. The MSP is $789, which is just over $100 less. I would say that the Moments are in the same price bracket/tier as the jeffs. And the MSP doesnt come in anything over a 187, some of us are tall. Plus it is a very different ski, and still barely $100 less than the Jeff. Name a ski that truly is half the price like you claim. Dumbass

14628227:hi_vis360 said:Their entire brand identity and marketing is based around being independently manufactured. “Who builds your skis” and hyping up all the made in USA stuff. So outsourcing production would defeat the entire purpose of the company. Why would a big company want to buy a mini ski factory when they have a huge one in China or Eastern Europe? That would make 0 business sense.
