ON3P Skis

well, you could just get a jeronimo with a stiff flex, it's really close to what you're looking for...and graphics you just choose which one of the three you like.

fuck yeah boys, i got to see these skis at triple threat, totally impressive, way to set the example on following your dreams, seriously sick

hell yeah, this is such a good post!

i joined your cult a while ago, i'm really feeling with you, i started building a somewhat proffesional camera crane more than a year ago and it's so much more work than i thought it would be... but It's extremely fun and it taught me a lot.

so yeah i'm a student myself so i can't give you money, but i would pay my 500 bucks or so for skis and i wouldn't mind getting them a year later or something like this. just so you have a little more money to work with...

and if you have an extra pair i wouldn't mind testing it over here in europe.

oh god, look how stoked everybody is, there was 10 posts while i wrote my reply...

if you use newschoolers as smart as you already do anyways, you will not have a problem to find tons of people who want to buy your skis.

get them to pay in advance and make around a 100 pairs to see how it goes and your funds should be going up soon.

materials funding is not a big deal because i can always do a presale

we need funding for tools, new press, actual factory, legal and accounting fees, website, as well as salary for those working. Definitely broke as hell right now because of this. and ski sales just couldn't cover it.

with those graphics you could sell quite a few. All you really need is exposure, i'd try and set up a demo tent of some sort, if you could get your mountain to allow it. Words travel a long way so do whatever you can to get the brand out there.

sick skis yo.

I am so fucken stoked for you man, getting out there starting it up making it legit. Its very cool that your sharing so much with us.

Making skis gives you a whole new appreciation for the sport. I cannot tell you how cool and utterly dreadful it was; cool for so many reasons, dreadful for bending edges and pushing the bone of your thumb through to skin and getting fiberglass absolutely everywhere and in everything.

Iggy is a dedicated man that demands perfection. My pair of Jeronimo's are already making me extremely happy for this winter. A few nights ago they got a once over by a guy who had seen quite a few customs in his time, and he said they seemed to be some of the best he's ever held, and could not believe it was made by a rookie crew and company.

ive been hearind the same thing from every shop owner/tech, they havent seen a handmade ski this good in years.

its true, iggy is a perfectionist who demands it from his employees and it shows in the craftsmanship, each ski was meticulously hand sanded from tip to tail, edges bent with throbbing and bleeding thumbs (thank you rowen and everyone that help me out with those, i wouldnt have thumbs now if it werent for you guys) and a bottle of advil or two. everything checked and rechecked making sure everything was as perfect as we could get it.

when you buy ON3P (hopefully sometime in the future) that is exactly what you will get. a quality, handmade ski, made with love by skiers for skiers right here in the good ole PNW.

i cant tell you guys how great it feels see how much encouragment we are getting from everyone, the stoke you guys are providing is keeping the fire going.

i just want to thank scott first and foremost, you brought me in on this and trusted me with the majority of your babies, i owe you beers for life dude, i cant tell you how lucky i am to be a part of this endeavor and i wouldnt be here without you dude, thanks brother!

keep an eye out for www.on3pskis.com and save those pennies cuz you all know youll want a pair :-D.

Incredible. I have so much respect for you, you're a very dedicated and hard working guy. Best of luck in the future.

such a sick thread you guys are gonna blow up for sure and i wanna get on some steels asap and some jeronimos as well

seanpistol and i worked together to design the caylor. we both wanted a ski that was similar to the ep/bent style but with a rocker somehwere slightly in the middle. my biggest problem i found on my eps was (of course) how much flex they had. i was consistently popping out when stomping cliffs because they flexed so much on landing that they would pop off. and after riding bents a few days i could feel how stiff they were compared to the ep's, and fell in love.in comes the Caylor. fat, rockered, long, and stiffer than the bents without a doubt (i will be skiing these everywhere, park/pow/groomers/crud). we designed this ski with everything in mind. i needed a ski that would perform at all levels in all conditions, aka the perfect Baker ski, something stiff enough to charge hard lines and drop bombs liek bush, but still playful and poppy enough to have fun on in the park and everywhere in between with enough rocker to switch pow with ease. with the help of sean i think the Caylor became exactly that.

all you guys looking for a more burly ep/bent will fall in love with the Caylor.

Scott and co,

This project is something that will go down in NS history. I wish you all the best and am sooo stoked on riding my pair this winter! I cannot begin to comprehend the workmanship that has gone into these skis. Big props to everyone who helped out, hope to see you on the mountain this year.

~Fuckin stocked!~

Good to see this all come together for you. I remember Nikki telling me all about it a couple of years ago. Excellent work!!!!!

Love the ON3P story Scott..it's so good to see a concept come all the way to fruition

I look forward to seeing the company only get bigger!!!

I know if I ever needed a pair of rockered pow skis i'd be all over ON3P

High 5 and best of luck with it. Hope you have a great season on them!!

yeah. there is a list of shapes in the thread you may have missed.

179cm 111/85/111. they will hopefully come in a longer and a few short sizes too.

there also is

an extra-rockered wrenegade out there. i wanted something between my hellbents and (non-rockered) seths.

thats the beauty of ON3P: scott slid a different rocker template in when mine were in the press.

specs:

191cm Wrenegade

141/113/128

Tip Rocker = 25cm x 2cm

Tail Rocker = 15cm x 1.5cm

bents on left, wrens on right:

I am absolutely loving what you are doing. i really wish i could ride a pair, they just look so fun. hopefully you will be able to get into the game (sending my vibes to help on that.) best of luck.

ps. you should hit me up next time you are at crystal so i can get a look at the skis.
