Do you guys make any skis that are like 165cm or 160cm for the groms, i would love some ON3P skis.

as the one who was holding the thermometer, i distinctly remember dantes butt was 74 degrees.

but whatever, point of the story is that yea we'll have some teeny tiny's for you teeny tiny's.

these are 160's and homemade - but not for you!

I know I am always the negetive nancy online but I hate to say it, don't hold your breath on the smaller sizes. We will announce the final shapes and sizes in plenty of time for you all to get your fix for next season. Nothing more until next season however.

A rockered 165 ski is kinda pointless. The smallest out there is currently 174 (the '169' hellbent). Think about it even with 20cm of rocker hellbent has 40) you will end up with less contact area then a ski board/blade.

Think of it with 20cm of rocker (tip tail) a ski will actually ski 40cm shorter. however you have to account for weight so it may just feel 10-20cm smaller. but still a 176 (hint) will be just right for the smaller rippers out there who want a rockered pow ski.

As for smaller sizes though there might be one, we don't want to forget the smaller rippers out there. There are alot of sick things in the works for sure though.

Yeah i would get hellbents if i wanted a pow specific ski and had the money, i would love a 93ish underfoot park/pow ski, i have ARV's right now.

You just described the stupidest kind of skis ever.

Maybe you can bro out with the owner of the company that makes such a ski and play some gamecube, and have some natty ice.........

naw if boone skis are what some one is looking for then give them a shot, I would wait until unbiased reviews start coming in though. There is no reason why the skis can't be good. We just think that the section of mid fat 90-97mm skis is so over saturated that ON3P would like to offer something different to skiers.

I look at their owner, and I say don't give them a shot. You might say that's dumb, but I'd rather support ON3P guys obviously then some bro. Their skis could be sick, in fact I doubt that they suck, they are probably a decent ski. And no hate to the kids who ride them, you do what you gotta do man. their owner just looks like a tool.

Remember though that in powder, that is irrelevant since you are sinking in snow anyways. And on hard snow or groomed snow, you spend probably 90% of the time on edge, and when on edge the ski is flexing. You would only notice the small contact area that short time you are totally flat on your bases (although at high speed that could get REAL dodgy and squirrly).

For my next pair I'm going to do another crazy short pair (160-165ish range) but with no camber, and maybe a little "rocker" as you kids call it.

yeah agreed, its not like your centered the whole time when going straight either, so less then 40 cm of the ski is what you dont use

i tried 179 bents, and im small 145, 5'5" and they were to much for me, ridable but not worth it to buy

i really just want a versitile ski, ohh or for 165 like a 97ish or 100mm that was flexy, maybe like a smaller bacon? and in boone i dont really know, the mix and match thingy is sketch. similar to the VCT or Bacon, like you can use it in park fine and then go straight for the pow pow.

You are describing the Lizzies.

Personally, I think they may be less versatile when so flexy, because my Bacons were a little squirrelly at high speed in hard chopped up snow. But that's your call.

I would love lizzies but their really big, my 165's are over my head so 172 would be huge.

Thanks!

160cm, 110-90-100, about 1/2" camber at the center (maybe a little less). Flex is very similar to 1260's, just a little softer at the tips. The waist is at the true center, and they'll be center mounted.

It's a short 172, and you are a decently strong skier who will grow into them. They would be a good pow ski for you.

I am 5'5" 125 lbs (but twice your age... scary) and I definitely prefer a shorter ski too. My motherships are 172 and just over my head, and they ski great. I wish they could be just a touch shorter, but such is life.

Well i have my arv and have my money for bindings for my ARVs and all my outerwear so i loook into them next season, unless i can pop like 500 bucks. Or look into ON3P stuff.

You will always have a boner for 1260's.

Also, thanks for letting me use that vice. Your ski debri helped a lot, I was able to use one of those pipes as a lever for cranking down the vice more. Also, we need to compare homebuilts.

hahaha, i laughed so hard when i saw this at the girlys place, she didnt understand why a electronic thermometer would make me rofl.

I have no idea, a few days ago, I've been working too much. Pivot brakes are fucking bitch, my bend job looks like shit.
