ON3P or Vishnu

So im looking for a new setup for this winter and im stuck deciding between on3p’s Crushin’ Cans or a pair of Wets. I primarily ski park, focused on rails, but occasionally will rip down a few groomers throughout the day. Im 6’0” and 170 lbs.

Also im coming from a 177 all mountain camber twintip so im afraid if i get the wet it will be alot softer than what im used to.

Get wet plus 189 if you go with Vishnu

How is this even a question - should I buy a Porsche or a Kia a bunch of people on the internet are saying Kia

i think lots of people anywhere would say kia over porsche lol.

If it's going to be your only ski setup I would go with on3ps, but if it's your dedicated park ski and you have other sets of skis I would get vishnus

I mean it's safe to say Vishnu is so hot right now

And it probably will till those 1000 skis drop on full force . I've skied on3ps and own a pair.and I really do like them a ton. If I had a chance to ride vishnus I totally would. Do your research that is not just NS (even though NS is a great resource). If it's graphics. Go vishnu. It seems to be the hot ticket. If it's ski ability and what you can get out of it and company relationship. Go on3p

I’ve owned Magnus 90’s and 102’s and I tried a pair of my friends wides on which were 4mm wider and 12cm longer yet the felt lighter and more jibby than my 102s, so I made the switch this year to wides but they haven’t come yet since they’re the color change ones :/

The analogy isn’t perfect but my point stands. You think you’ll get better mail order skis from China than hand built in Portland? I’ll take my chances on that bet

ON3P's will perform way better all over the mountain, and IMHO will be more durable than the Vishnus. The Crushin Cans (Also known as the Magnus 102), is pretty much the perfect 1 ski quiver

Vishnu’s last longer from what I’ve seen first hand. Chinese doesn’t necessarily mean poor quality

Everyone says vishnus are just for park and are to soft for other stuff. That is incorrect, they rip everywhere, if you’re a good skiier, you can pretty much rip any ski no problem

imo, the ON3P skis are more versatile. they are stiffer and stable, but yet butterable and playfull. float well in pow, carve on groomers.

whenever i try wets or wides i feel like i couldn't charge for shit. just wash out from everything

the myth of american exceptionalism is still alive and well I see.

I don't have many skis left but you won't go wrong with either option.

i rode my 183 wides at snowbird 9 days last spring and that shit was incredibly fun. all that ski underfoot was keepin me on top of the corn, not sinking down. also with slushy moguls it was fun to have a ski that can flex a lil more. truth is the wides are fun everywhere, including the parking lot’s handrails.

This is true. I’ve ripped soft skis all over. Even in australia (notoriously wet slush or hard ice) I had skis with a similar layup to Vishnu’s (even made in the same factory). No problems. You will adapt to the ski.

You can’t go wrong with either. People always act like you can’t ski a soft ski off-piste but that’s not true. Both brands make a quality product.

The Vishnu key looks so sick btw. That in the green/yellow/white would probably be my pick.
