On3p mangos

I'm sure you could manage to find some insider knowledge from some rando that talked to another know nothing rando on a chairlift and try and pass it off as fact here.
 
I remember magnus saying on ig he had a custom like 110 or 12 magnus, maybe this is the rebrand of the magnus and they’re offering the wider waist?
 
Wonder if the mount point is going to be slightly forward of the -4 Jeff. More all mountain width vibe with a parkier stance?

I would assume so. I think the mag 102 was -2 I might be wrong though.

I ordered a pair of the 90’s and they just arrived. I don’t know enough about sidecuts and geometry to delve deep, but they look similar to the narrow Jefes, and the rec mount is at true center.

Yooo here’s some quick ones before work this morning. Pretty cool looking shape when I step back from it, and pretty aggressive camber. Also, feels stiffer than I expected, especially for a narrow ski. These are the 90’s at 181cm

Thanks guys. Pulled the trigger knowing next to nothing about them, and super satisfied with the first impression. Top sheet looks 1000% better in person. Very surprised at the true center mount, and just trying to imagine how gnarly the 110 version would be!

They look damn near symmetrical too do you have the measurements from them?

Scott pretty much designs the camo's for his own desires. Good to see more of them in the wild. I have to woodland with orange sidewalls and they look sick....Also match a holster I own...so I can match my skis to my gun.

They definitely aren’t fully symmetrical, and there is slightly more rocker in the tip than tail. Much closer-looking (subjectively) to symmetrical than the new/recent Jeff’s though. I’ll measure em later today.

oh my - those are something else man, very very nice. Solid life choices there for sure :)

I am a bit puzzled about the jeffs and mangos not being official yet, but then again - from the teases of the jeff110 graphics on insta - the wait should be more than worth it. The Mango Sunrise graphic graphic was pretty damn sensational last year too, so tall order topping it :)
 
they have to be dropping soon, I just hope the custom sale is still going on when they do so I can get a full look at them and decide stock or custom

I mean the 90 is substantially less ski than the Jeff's that I have, so maybe a little softer? Will update in a week or so when WA opens up.

Yo I got another question for anyone here, how is on3ps park detune? I want to be able to ride the mountain while still hitting park, do you think I should go with the detune or stay with the factory tune?

I don’t have ON3P but I have heard and read the factory detune is very aggressive.

Detuning edges is a sacrifice. You pay the price in skiing performance, but the sacrifice is not as big as you think. Very noticeable difference, still something I'm willing to live with.

You'll definitely notice it on icy hard snow!
 
Thanks for all the responses! I contacted them and they said they could do a medium detune if I wanted, should I go with that or should I just suck it up and get the full park detune?

Thats cool of them, Go with the medium and if you need to detune more that can always be done later. You don't want to get the full detune and end up hating it. You can't add metal back.
 
Yo quick question, I’m planning on rocking the Pivot 15s on my mango 100s, I’ve only ever bought bindings that matched my exact ski width so im not sure cuz the pivots come in 95mm or 115mm. Which one do u think is better for 100mm underfoot?
