On3p mango mount point

Just picked up some mango 100s from the factory finds page on on3ps website. I know they recommend a close to center mount but how does anyone who has center mounted mango’s feel about them. I’ll be riding them mostly in the park.

Dont listen to me if ur gonna ski pow with them but last year I had them. Mounted true center was great. Were my first flexy skis so theres a tiny learning curve no matter where you mount them. Whatever you do make sure you label the front. Use sharpie on masking tape for max vis.

i like center mount, useless in 18” powder but i learned my first butters and they felt freaky stable.

I rode Vishnu west last year which I center mounted. I actually bought the mangos over the wets because I wanted more stability.

I cant get over how backseat and uncontrolled vishnu riders look. I respect them but pizza everywhere is a bit wack.

I go -1 on all my park skis. The way your body actually sits above your skis when your knees are bent and shins pressed into your boots, you’re body is actually centered when they are mounted at -1. It’s rly not that big of a deal tho there’s nothing really wrong with center either.

Started the season with my mango 100s center mounted then moved them back to -1 and I honestly loved it. Center mount will be fine, I was told recommended mount on the 100s is -1cm so i moved them and it definitely feels perfect

I skied Mango 100's last season with pivot 14s. I had them absolute center mounted and they skied beautifully. Great in the trees, on jumps, and on rails. Imo there's no noticeable difference between center and -2 especially if you are spending the majority of your time in the park.

i recommend true center but 1cm back doesn’t hurt i wouldn’t put it anywhere past that as a park ski

That’s why I didn’t like them lol, super playful though.

My mango 100s were tru center and 171 so short for me but super fun. My mango 90s are -1cm back and 180something long. I’m not sure I can notice a difference cause diff skis hard to compare but if physics is right it should help.
