On camera monitors

Yo! Doing some upgrading to the camera setup this year and was wondering if y'all had any opinions or found something that works well for skiing? Are there any weather sealed options around or is a plastic bag going to have to do the trick? I'm mostly looking at the Atomos Shinobi but have no idea how durable it is, or if it gets bright enough to use on bluebird days.

big fan of atomos, 1000 nits is pretty solid, if you can afford or justify the jump to a shogun for 3k nits would obviously be much better! someone else with experience can chime in on if thats worth it.

I'm assuming you're going to be using this locked off on a tripod, and in that case with a sun hood you should be able to see well - and portabrace makes a handful of well priced rain and dust covers. Though a plastic bag works well!

Actually quite the opposite, It will be cage mounted on a run and gun rig haha. Ideally I'd be able to eat shit while follow camming and not need to buy a new monitor, but I'm trying to get rid of the gimbal this year in lieu of something...... different.

Portabrace looks like good shit though! Definitely going to take a look into it.
