everyone threw down but judges we're fuckin retarded didnt watch half the tricks done, some people shoulda made the finals like andy parry kid did some of the craziest things that could be done on skis and didnt get any love

the skiing was insane. what did jd throw because in non-finals he didnt seem like he was getting super tech. I couldnt imagine it topped pat cowans lip 450 270 out
 
yeah total bs that Andy didnt make it into finals

to me the stuff he was doign really stood out, I would have thought that the judges woudl have realized that no one else was doign anything like it, therefore it must have been tough to do or others would have 

 
everyone talkin about andy not making the final , can someone tell what he was doing for people who werent at the contest?
 
just took my exams a week early so I'm on xmas break, and andy did different variations of hippy killers bewolfs and one footers on the down rail. My favorite was like slide to fs swup into a beowolf. mind blowing!
 
biggest piece of shit competition i ve ever watched. first of all, andrew holson and andy perry didnt even make finals, and they were skiing so well in qualifiers. then in finals, will wesson didnt even podium, neither did pat cowan. pat did a 630 on, lip 450, regular 450, all onto a downrail.

giray got second, and he just did 450 disaster on the flat down box every single hit.

but in good news, i had the pleasure of watching curtis bolduc do sick lay backs and worm turns on the box. skiing needs to go in the direction that curtis is taking it.

 
first wesson just straight up owns everyone he didnt win im amazed that 4 snowboard judges couldnt tell what he was doin, cowan 450 lip ill, tyler best n andy parry robbed outa finals both threw downnnn 7,8,9, 10 seeds were a fuckin battle that im gonna hafta disagree with
 
before i say anything negative..everyone there slayed and it was a really ill comp. i didnt get to hit the setup but it looked real fun as well. trhat being said..will wesson got screweedd. i havent really seen him ski besides vids online but wesson slayed and so did cowan.

i thought everyone that was in finals was a great skier, but a few could have gone either way. i really thought that andy was a lock to be in, and i thought holson could have gotten in as well.

the judges were complete shit as far as missing tricks, and it was just another example of how skiers need there own or atleast a share of the judges to be skiers..a good show though nonetheless
 
so sick to watch everyone was throwing down hardcore. does anyone know who it was that tried the misty/rodeo/flip whatever it was onto the flat down. it woulda been sick if he had landed it. it ridiculous that all thejudges were snowboarders, theres no way to judge a comp farily that way.
 
not really there were a few kids that did big spin disasters but there was way more tech shit put down on the rail than spin to win. and the judges werent laughing there asses off because they were to busy finger blasting eachothers cornholes after the snowboarders were done.
 
Comp was fun as fuck, best hour and a half I have had skiing in a long time.

The finals where sick, and I think the right people placed. When there is a comp that has a shit ton of sick skiers its hard to tell who will win, and so hard to try and judge.
 
should have been the best 2 and a half hours because you deserved finals more than anyone. but whatever keep up the progression.
 
the results were not fucked, it was actually very well judged. Jd did every trick on both rails, did not fall once, he was deffinatly the winner no question about that. LJ stomped so many tricks, he must have had twice as much runs as anyone else and giray went huge from start to finish. I think will wesson deserved a place also, but other than that it was very well judged.
 
he went for a rodeo onto the box i think and he didn't come very close and he supposedly had to go get stiches on his shin
 
it was a lot of fun. best part was that every kid was equaly pumped to be in it so everyone was having fun and being friendly.
 
you must have paid great attention. I normally wouldnt say this but here it goes from start to finish

hit the top of flat box and gap the down part

450 shifty disaster onto down

450 disaster 270 out

270 onto the rail 270 out

270 on frontside switch up onto rail

frontside switchup, uphill 270 out on rail

nosebutter 360 on then switchup on the rail

blindside switchup to 270 out on rail

630 disaster onto the down

270 on to box, slide till im facing forward, then a nollie switchup thinger on the down part

270 on kinda spinning switchup to sitdown where i grabbed my heels

630 disaster

360 switchup on the kink box

360 switchup on kink box again but an actual attempt to clear the down with a uphill 450 out

those were 15 solid hits outta the rail jam, and i know i did only 2 450 disaster. so you might wanna go through that list again and get your facts straight

However, in qualifiers, i did do like 4 or 5 450 disasters, and only because i wanted to have my shit down for finals. i was also attempting to do other things that didnt work out with those 450 disasters in qualifiers
 
oh and i didnt nail everything every try to make that clear, there were some redos and messups in between some things.........
 
^jesus, that trick list is absolutely rediculous, if you threw all those and got 2nd, what the fuck did JD do that made him win?
