i just found out form my shop that my line invaders arent coming in till mid to late november maybe even december!!!!they got in 178 ones but not 161!!!! the people at line better start gettin their shit together or their gonna lose alot of sales

damn dude 161s are TINY for you. i usually only ride a 175-180 for park, and im only 5'8" and i use a 186 or 188 for pow/big mountain.

youre probably holding yourself back a tiny bit by getting tiny skis. but then again, weight and ability is probably a better tool for ski length

pretty much. you need to remember they are twins too. The running length on the 161s must be like just tiny.....

5'7" on soft ass 161 invaders probably center mounted.....is tiny. at least your will have no issue throwing them around.

seriously....just get the 178s. you wont have any trouble handling them if you are a decent skier. just mount center.

To actually put thought in to this:

You are 5'7...or 67 inches...better known as 170cms. You are 9cm taller than the skis you want, and 8 cms shorter than the ones people are screaming for you to get.

A 170 is ideal, but a soft, center mounted ski will take away the size difference. The 178 is actually a better choice, unless you have an Ethiopian frame and can't flex the Invader.
