I know these posts are gay but i feel that you all know best about what im about to ask. I am a hella small kid. 5'1 and 80 pounds. Right now I have Salomon junior 1080s in a 145 but i am getting a 160 around that height ski. On my Salomons i cannot butter at all. I am looking for a ski that is flexy so i can butter on it. I am also looking for a durable ski that can last me at least a year and no broken edges. Right now im thinking the rossi pro teens or fujatives. if anyone has ridden both these skis and can help plz do. also if you have any other suggestions. not meaning to be anoying but im in a bind

my bro is about 5 4' 92 pounds and he rides 159 fujatives and he can butter and flex those bad boys well

for butters go fug. do this in the store take the ski stand it upside down (tip facing down and tail up) put your hads on the tail and then press down the ski will make and L shape or J ( which way you are lookin at it).

use a warrantly if your so overly concerned with durability. skis are not made to slide rails, screw up and then land on cement. they are not made to butter into a cartwheel and role around in the snow, they are not made to do all this were doin' people are using virtually the same shit they have been for the last decade and changing the cuts a little here and there.

demo the kinds of skiis you are interested in and pick one.

 
Center mount some 165cm troublemakers cause the 165cm's are soft...and when center-mounted, the swing-weight is pretty low.I got my TroubleMakers like 1' above my head when I got them and I was still able to spin 540s and stuff.

wait....are the 165 tms softer than 175? shouldnt it be proportionat or logically the 175 would be softer. cause i have 175s and those better not be as soft as 165s. the ones i had last year were noodles. but to answer your question i would say get something between 150 and 160 and a pretty light ski. one of the newer 4frnts are good because they arent as clunky

The ecos are pretty durable, so the rossis should be too. However, I'm less than convinced about the fuj's durability. People who ski them seem to be almost blindly devoted to them, but from shop people, less than glowing reviews durability-wise.

the fujatives are super soft an sweet for ridin buttas, although i have seen many of them go back for warranty already this year, you get what you pay for. i think you'd have better luck with the 1260's personally.

the scratches are a great all around ski. i love buttering on mine, soo much fun. also, they havent given me the slightest problem durability-wise...so yes. buy scratches.

mkay, im 5'1' and i weigh 94 on a good day, i ski on 170's i just looked at the rossie pro teens today and i have seen the fujitives, personally i would go with the fujitives, they look better and they are really good for butters, and there fat enough to take in the powder.
