Olympics 2022 - Big Air

Thinking back to how absolutely balls to the wall the athletes sent it during this years x-games big air event, imagine how big they will go to secure the olympic gold! I imagine riders like Harlaut and A-Hall has reserved some goods in the trickbag for this event!
 
The setup is dope, looks like a bigger jump too and thats all matej really needed. Hope he secures it early and throws a switch triple front for shits and gigs

now realizing thats not really works though probably with this format compared to the jam sesh

As much as I am for style vs spin! I anticipate that the olympics will be another huck-fest! I hope that Dollo and Matej will put some flavour on the inevitable tornadoe about to come
 
I want to see the king with the gold. Seems like Henrik has been pretty focused on the Olympics, He's gonna throw down

Is it a huckfest if dudes are landing, getting the grab, and stomping? I mean the slow mo of these guys, they are so in control. I have a real hard time calling big air a "huckfest".

To me that's just dudes washing out and tuck kneeing.

Fair points man! I totally get that big air it’s all about sending the biggest and baddest trick you got in the bag, huckfest might not be the right word. However, it did bother me how A-Hall got the win in this years x-games, as he was only doing the same axis’s and grab over and over again. Would like to see athletes that change it up during the event get some recognition from the judges.

Qualifiers are starting now if anybody isn't aware. It seems like one commentator has no idea what he's doing but Dylan Ferguson is the other for anybody old enough to know who that is. I'm surprised they didn't get Wallisch, though.

On CBC they have ABM as a commentator. Very nice to have someone who knows what they're talking about.

Idk but must not be pivots/px12s i use those cuz i can keep them light within a reasonable din and they never let me down on a landing

I’m so pissed about this!!! We were just bitching about how they want everything to be robotic and hate style, her landing was perfect her binding let go but she still stayed up how does that get thrown out its not her fault BS
 
Henrik is a boss.

While the level of competition is really high, the judging definitely favors more spins and shit over some sexy moments of style. The prophecy is true, skiing is aerials.
