They just look for things to protest about.. none of them actually feel that passionate about the anti-olympics movement... I'm sure most of them are going to the free concerts. what they don't realize is that they're causing so much damage that now Vancouver is going to have to pay for.. and they're complaining about how much Vancouver has to spend... illogical.
 
yeah i feel that there actions where abbhorrent to their reason to protest. .. but then again iam not a canadain. must be all the poutine.
 
Im not 100% sure, but based on what i know of vancouver they have ALOT of junkies and ALOTT of homeless people. Seems to me these people are probably mad were dropping big bucks on the games and ignoring the poverty in the city.

But yea these protesters are fucking faggots.
 
They're protesting the IOC coming into these cities and making astronomical demands and putting terrible strains on everyone in the surrounding areas, flooding these cities with trash and bullshit, and using up food supplies like nothing else.
They have legit claims to a certain degree, but Vancouver is far from incapable of handling the Olympics.
 
wow I wish i saw this first hand...they had some hippie protesters at UBC but nothing like this. its so pointless, its like protesting the holocaust. it has already happened, theres nothing you can do to stop it. might as well accept and enjoy it
 
The guys breaking shit are fucking idiots. You have a right to protest, and the IOC understand that and arent stopping people from doing it, but knocking down mailboxes and breaking windows is just stupid.
 
They're just anarchist cunts. They plague world-things, destroy shit, act like complete fuckheads, while trying to attribute a cause. They are particularly numerous here in the PNW; must be all the clouds and shit. Seattle was trashed by the WTO riots in '99, by essentially a more impassioned group of anarchist fuckheads.
