Olympic opening ceremony computer generated?

Well atleast we got to revisit world war 2 and be a bomber bombing a big city with flak exploding around us, well thats how i saw it.
 
That's so typcial of them. Don't get me wrong they have the ability to do something like that but why would they blame it on Safety issues.
 
I thought they looked waaaay too good but I figured that was just China killin it. Never thought it was faked...

The only faked ones were the stadium. Even without the fireworks that was the best 4 hours if tv i have ever seen. No one will ever be able to reproduce that - 2008 people all doing taekwon do in perect circles in harmony with no marking at all- simply blew my fucking mind. They had 15000 performers- no country on earth could ever match that-
 
what difference does it make that it was faked. their job was to put on a show and they put on an incredible show using all the resources they had available
 
That's pretty lame. They may as well have had a real looking Pickachu and Charmander battling on the screen.
 
who cares, then thats even crazier, that that thing was computer generated, that would take a fack load of work to do that
 
Bummer. I was pretty convinced that China is the place to go for epic parties. Now it's just the place to watch CG parties on TV.
