im with you, as an american im not too stoked on team usa at all. its a decent team, but not as much as a caliber team like canada is.
 
Sweden. But the fact that Canada is predicted to finish 7th is a joke, there team is a medal contender for sure. But I'm gonna say USA pulls an upset and gets Silver. Lets hope.
 
My dad and I were at a Blazers game and there was a retarded guy sitting behind us who yelled "Go Vipers" the entire game. Damn retards
 
if canada doesnt win then it must be rigged somehow. Their team is stacked the whole way through. Honestly their players who didn' even make the team could probably beat the US
 
Than what's the point of releasing them if they are so ass-backwards it's funny? Everyone knows Canada is bringing home a medal, its what color it is that has people guessing.
 
Do people even understand how the tournament format works? Canada could easily wind up playing Sweden or Russia in the quarter finals, and those are two teams that most definitely stand a chance against the Canadians (remember 2006?). Shit, Canada could even barely make it to the quarter finals again (2010 anyone?). Same holds true for all teams in the tournament. Group C is stacked this year and there is a pretty big chance one of either the U.S, Slovakia, or Russia not making the quarters. Sure it's likely to be the Slovaks but the possibility remains. And Slovakia is a pretty darn good team, far too good to go home without even making it to the elimination round.

Since NHL players have been participating in the Olympics Finland is the only team with 3 medals. Finland. Canada has been a pretty heavy favorite in all 4 tournaments and only medalled twice (sure, they were both golds :)).

I just think people look at the rosters and assume the Olympics are like an 82 game season. Sure in that case it's highly likely Canada would come out on top but upsets do happen. Even Buffalo has beaten teams like Boston and SJ this year..

 
By THE olympic team you mean 8 of them are going to play in the olympics for different countries? Also the wild blow fat donkey dick.

No, I'll yourself. Sweden winning, all they have is that fuck Zetterberg and his crew. USA is winning, they were inexperienced last time around and still managed to almost beat a veteran Canadian team. All I have to say is Crosby, Toews, and the rest of team Canada better be prepared for the rape on I've the US is going to execute in Sochi.
 
really, Canada looks good. I see them taking gold. Who all is on Finland's team? I never pay attention but they are always competitive.
 
10 on the hawks homie! No idea who is going to win, all I know is that I am very excited, and look forward to watching some amazing hockey.

 
Their goaltending alone makes them a contender to steal any game. Rask, Niemi, Lehtonen... Really excited to watch barkov too
