Olympic Halfpipe, were still in this fight

no one said the fight was lost. there is no fight for 2010. there has been FIS world championship halfpipe for a few years now. this really is nothing new

 
What are you talking about? Read the article. I think it states 2010 is still possible if everyone gets on this and doesnt take the side of " there is no fight for 2010" screw it, approach.

you're an idiot. pros are willing to not puff for a month or two in order to compete in the olympics. besides not every pro skier does drugs. i GUARANTEE if pipe was in the olympics in 2010 tanner would be there to represent.
 
LISTEN UP KIDS: IN THE OLYPICS ONLY PEROFRMANCE ENHANCING DRUGS ARE BANNED. This means you can't take steroids (because they can make you stronger), but pot is okay (because it will not help you in a competition).

and its legal in most forein countries so probly doesnt matter... but no skiing in the olympics is better for now, keeps it more underground
 
Was he the guy who won the gold in snowboarding a while back? If so, then I do remember. Remember how he was allowed to keep his medel, and how the people who took it away were reprimanded by the Olympic Committee because pot is not on the list of prohibited substances.
 
Ross Reglati or something like that was the canadian snowboarder who had his medal taken and then returned. Is that who youre thinking of as Ross Powers?
 
I would rather see Candide boosting out of the Breck pipe than see FIS mangle a competition and judging in front of the whole world.
 
ok first youre a fucking faggot, acknowledging that people blaze doesnt make you cool, second the olympic committee doesnt test for thc in the bloodstream. so thats not a factor now is it. and even then i think that pro skiers arent retarded enough to not be able to pass a drug test. its not like they are particularly effective.
 
but if they do get caught with pot in there blood, how is that gonna make the freeskiing world look? I know most freeskiiers do blaze but Its not a good rep.
 
you realize that you can get it out of your system in 30 days, none the less take detox and pass a drug test that day right. Look at the mens snowboard team
 
You shouldn't say he's a pussy. You may think his style is ugly, but it certainly isn't pussy. He has had a lot more terrible crashes than most racers because he goes all out and never reigns it in for safety.
 
YOU GUYS ARE NOT PAYING ATTENTION: POT IS NOT A PROHIBITED SUBSTANCE IN THE OLYMPICS. Only steroid type performance enhancing drugs are prohibited. You can shoot heroin and compete if you really want to.
 
or coarse weed is tested for it counts as an illigal substance and you will get discolified if you have it in your blood

Keeps it more underground, I've heard that a few times and I think its retarted, I dont think you have to worry about everyone jumping off the snowboard band wagon for a least a few more years. Why try and stop our sport from growing in popularity? The positives are a lot better than the negatives.
