older free skiers?

Alot people in their 40's and 50's dont even know what a twintip is.

I remember going to my local resort back in like the mid 90's and I saw an older guy with a pair of homemade twintips with rivets in the tips and tails.

He was heading into the backcountry.

Pretty wild when you think back on it.

We def need to get something going.. I'd join the cult (not sure what it is though :) ). How many of you guys out there ski killington? I'm doing a time share at a pretty sick house right off the access road. We have a lit hill which I can't wait to throw up a kicker on for some night sessions this winter.

baddie-blue - a lot of people in their 20's and 30's don't know what a twintip is. If we could somehow get more people our age amped about freeskiing, it could be a huge market..

hell yea old man club even tho im only 22, my hips/knees/shoulder feel it, but that might be because of the way i huck myself, check out my vid in the crash-video section...

Any 6-foot guys out there have tips for doing spins. I can do a 360 off pretty big tables but I'm sure it looks pretty awkward..

I thought I was the only 1 who felt odd being 23 and all....the cult is def a good idea..and as for a ski camp...I'd def be down...I thought about going as well..but then I pictured myself trying to rip at a camp with all the 14-16 year olds...and figured it prob wasn't a good idea

I love loose granular

I'm their if you think your old now what are you going to feel like when your 35. I still fuckin rip, I just work out more and twice as hard. You're only as old as you think your are

Hopefully I will be skiing the Big K in VT until January, and the other K in CA for the rest of the season.

Well thats pretty sad if people in their 20's dont know what a twintip is. If someone says 'twintip ski' isnt just commone sense???

Im 24 and would love to hit up a summer camp but feel their is only going to be 14-17 yr olds their

Anyone ever attend a camp with an older crowd 21+

Life is tough. Get over it!!!

Yeah, I'm 29 and would love to hit up a camp that's 21+ or something...

I usually don't make it up to Killington too much, just mostly Wachusett

yo i will be at the pickle barrel this weekend hit me up

Hopefully I will be skiing the Big K in VT until January, and the other K in CA for the rest of the season.

Damn there are a lot of us over the legal age...nice. I am 23 been skiing since I was 2 but freeskiing since I made my own twins the year before the 1080's came out. I agree with everyone that I know what pain feels like and I don't really like how I feel after casin hit or after drinking a case of beer in a night. I am definatley not old by any means but this is the first time my body has pushed back after I abuse it.

The rebirth of a legend...try not to wet yourself.

the weird thing is that I'm only 17 but the opposite happens to me, I don't ride park its almost all back country and everyone I talk to about it or know that rides the stuff I do around here is like over 25 and lots of them are over 30. Its crazy like the last shred of youngin off-pisteness around.

impossible is really just a lack of determination

I don't know how I missed this thread before, but I'm 26, ski Killington (should be there every other weekend this year) and have definately looked into going to High North, but the Adult camp (19+), still haven't figured out if I'm gonna be able to swing it with the 'real job'.

And I know someone mentioned it before about not only being older but being heavier too, I tip the scales around 250, so I know what its like to have to search for the right equiptment too.

What really gets me pumped though is my brother, 29, just starting out in the park last year (only hitting a couple jumps), and already picked up twins, and has been wanting to progress his park skiing too.

life is too short to have any regrets

I'm 18, started 'doing jumps' a couple years ago, but didn't really get heavy in to park stuff until last year. I am still young, but almost feel like it's too late for me in a way...meaning, I wish I got into this kinda stuff when I was like 14 or 15. A misty is great when you are 18...its even better when you are 13. heh

We'll have you dead pretty soon.
