old user names

i dont know if this has been talked about in the past, but i think there should be a way to delete old screen names. there are a several members that have old ones that arent used, and there are people who signed up who havent been on for a long time.

instead of deleting them there should be an active member directory and only members that have signed in within so long should be listed there.

why does it matter? it does jack shit to the site. there is no reason TO delete them, but it would cause problems IF you did.

ok, deleting them may be extreme, but there are other ideas, like the two above had. you are right though, nothing HAS to be done, but there may be some merit to figuring something out.

Last logged in would be a cool feature but there is no need to delete members - they dont take any space up on the site

who cares its not that big of a deal also if you think about it if matt tells a sponsor he has 21,000 members (even if all of them are not active, he just doesn't tell them that) they are more likly to sponsor the site because of the large member list

^^^Probably why they are not deleted and also why there will never be a 'last logged in' because if the sponsors come on the site, they will see that some people never come on any more.

it would be good to delete them onmly so it doesnt say newschoolers has 21 thousand something members when there are really like only 100
