who has seen some of the old videos, like STate of Mind, Clay Pigeons, and that sort

Where can i get some of them

Look on the companies sites, or sierra trading post, they usually have some older ones! Hot Dog is a great movie! uhm The Hedonist, Soul Sessions & Epic Impressions, Fetish, Pura Vita, Sick Sense, & Global Storming are all great movies as well...u can get them from MSP

there is this comedy moovie about sex and ski racing and shit...dont know what its called but its funny as hell, and its pretty old

White Search, atleast i think its called that, is so good. So old that the 'pros' cant even ski in powder and they are still inventing new mogul techniques

And don't forget seeing Glen Plake when he was a kid in the Greg Stump movies (with day-glo one-pieces, too). Classic stuff!

Stump just re-released all of his old stuff on DVD. I saw an ad in Freeskier for it.

But if you really want to go old-school you have to check out people like John Jay. He's pre Warren Miller, and shot some really cool stuff if you're into retro skiing culture. I actually saw him once, at a ski film festival in Crested Butte. He used to narrate all his own films in person, and he did that for the showing in CB. A living slice of history to be sure.

Check out the National Museum of Skiing History's website. The museum is in Upper Michigan. I don't know the site offhand, but some quality time with Google will help you find it. They have a ton of old movies for sale. Some of them really, really old.

Dude that's not old that's only 6 years ago. If you want some good old ski flicks go to the Mogul Corner in Whistler they have a huge basket of old flicks on VHS for cheap.

DAYDREAMS by craig beck. 1979 it's sick. its all hippied out like they take to much acid. one guy hit a 100 foot cliff. too much slow mo though

^ Haha.... i was just about to. My favorite older movies.. not super old, but older, are Los Alamos, and Subject to Change. That was when skiing was core, and about hucking yourself, rather than looking cool. Oh yeah... can't forget Parental Advisory. "Hey Toben, are you wasted?" "Not nearly"

i have a few old ski movies i would sell for like $5 a piece. ship free.

time waits for snowman, the golden years of ski films, and the good, the rad, and the gnarly.

I am so watching aspen extreme tonight...I have it on DVD...what a classic...I need a cargo van with beds in it and a propane heater......add some four wheel drive and you have the perfect ski bum vehicle!!
