That place is sooooooooo random!

yeah man piss in your pants scarry. when i went i was with about 7 or 8 guys and we were walking down a fuckin pitch black hallway in the basement and ofcourse i had the be at the end of the line only using phones as lights.

omg i know how you feel bro. I was chillen with my friend Joel and he is a ladies man and gets mad hunnies. He called up the two hottest bitches in our grade and we all went to this super creepy ass haunted house and i had to be in the back or the front all the time and it made me look like a fucking bitch in front of these fine ass bitches.

....sadly......no. When we brought the chicks back to his place me and girl #1 chilled out on the pourch smokin some bud while he was inside getting his nut. Major buzkill..........

Theres one in Wingdale NY where i live. apparently if you go in they just got up and left everything in there. Ive never gone in cause theres a lot of security but ive pered through a window and its pretty creepy inside. Ive heard lots of rumors that theres underground tunnels connecting all the buildings so that it was easier to move patients around. Thats the last place I want to be

that'd be scary at night but if you had a sick camera there in the day you could get some fucking awesome pictures.

there is an old mental hospital right down the street from me and they make horror movies there. a private school actually rented one of the buildings to use for classrooms while they were rebuilding

you should come down to long island and check out the kings park psychiatric center. the property is huge and there's a few different buildings to check out and creep yourself out. it's kinda bad though because of the asbestos you really almost need a mask if you're gonna spend any significant time in there.

obviously all the damage and stuff was done by teenagers and homeless people and stuff, but it's creepy nonetheless

I believe the place I lived directly across the streeet of for 5 years is pretty damn terrifying. This is rockland county psychiatric center, you can't walk through it cause it is too big, you need a car. It is massive, the other scary thing is that it still operates, only in one building and houses the most deranged people in the area.

Just to get a feel for how big the complex is:

And the scary shit:

You can't get in the buildings cause the place still operates and it houses pretty dangerous people. One of them actually broke out while we lived there, and cause we lived across the street from the entrance the cops called us and told us we inside cause he was running around trying to get into houses.

is this at exit 16 ? because i know theres an old insane asylum around that area. it's got those bubble windows. i've only seen it driving but i want to make a trip there.

I never went in because the people next door are the care takers, and they will chase you out with guns and dogs. But here are a few pictures i took from the outside from the back of it.

This is only about half of it.

And it's technically in Providence. about ten miles west of Saratoga on 29, then maybe 5-6 miles north off of that.

I've been to it tons of time, just never gone in. Cops patrol the place all the time, the caretakers are always on the lookout, and about 15 people got arrested there last week.

It's not actually an insane asylum, it was an old Tuberculosis ward. Some girl in my physics class's parents worked there, she had some crazy stories about the place.

ballsack. Double post.

second picture is suppose to be this

and Dylan, you're thinking of Mt McGregor jail? this place is pretty far off from exit 16.

yeah we parked a little ways down the road and walked to it and went in through the back way. In the hour or two we were there we saw alot of caps driving past.

I've broken into an old hotel before. It's called the Adler and it's in Sharon Springs NY. It's creepy as shit and is pretty much EXACTLY like the Overlook from the Shining.

when it was first built in the 1920s

the creepy part is, EVERYTHING is still in the hotel. It only closed down in the early 90s and the previous owners didn't move anything out. So all the bed linens, tableware, chairs, couches etc are all still there.

Such a creepy place, and in the basement they have these Spa baths which are just scary.

The whole town of Sharon Springs is filled with places like that

This reminds me of that ghost stories thread, it was multiple pages and had some scary shit in it. +K to whomever finds and bumps it!

this is an insane asylum in my town, it was open from 1839 untill 1940. It is sort of a michigan legend because the whole property was built on native american burial grounds, the other reason that it is legandary is back then there was very much medical science and they would just perform labotomies and then put people in the incinerater which is that smoke stack in the second picture. this place has been on multiple ghost shows on tv and other stuff like that.

you can just go around the back to where the parking lot was and walk over the fence. Which is good to know in case you have to bail out fast.

Care takers house is the one to the left of the building, if you stay away from it you should be good.

If you park in the field behind the building on the right you should be fine and no one will spot your car.

There aren't guard dogs that they let out there like people say, and if you stay inside of the building and are quiet and don't have flash lights youll be fine.

No one goes in there to catch any one. They wait untill you come out and then get you. The town has 2 state troopers assigned to it so pretty much they have nothing better to do then go there.

I live about 30 minutes from there and have wanted to go so bad but I can never get anybody to go with me. It sucks to be friends with a bunch of pussies.

Not too shabby but go in at night time and tell me how freakin scary it is. Also, scope out the old developmental center out off of exit 16. Careful though the troopers barracks are about a mile up the road.

yea it's pretty fun, the only thing to be actually scared about is the other people that can be in there. it used to (and still prob is) a big place for homeless people who are often very protective of what little they do have, and other punk teenagers and that shit. other than that it's an awesome palce to go during the day to photograph, or at night to just explore, but like i said if your gonna spend a lot of time inside it'd be wise to get a mask

I have family that lives in Kings Park...I'm interested in scoping this out, and have a place to stay.

I work at a summer camp that use to be Indian grounds and theres a bunch of ghost stories about the whole camp. Part of the initiation for working there is to go camp in one of the haunted campsites called Laredo. Scary shit cause story has it that there was a train crash there in the early 1800s and a little girl died there. The staff knows its haunted because we has some indian shawman come check out and he was scared of the place. Theres also a place called the circle trees and when ever you step into it, it becomes windy as shit if its a nice day out, and if its a windy day and you step in it the wind dyes. Inside the circle theres objects called the coyote stump, deer tree, and bear rock. Story has it that a group of mormon campers went in there cause they thought all the story was a bunch of bs, so they destroyed the coyote stump and they all had nightmares about getting mawled by coyotes the next night. Its also scary because when you go up on the ridge of the camp you can see the circle trees and at night you can see scary ass glows coming from there, and if you look at the campsite at laredo people say you can here the voice of the little girl that died there. My scariest experience though was when i sleep deep down the valley by myself because of my job requirement, long story, but it was right next to the okd caretakers wifes grave. Didn't sleep all night, didnt even take my head out of the sleeping bag. If any of you guys have been to Peaceful Valley Scout Ranch in CO then thats were i work.

Shit man thats scary. Sleeping beside a grave.. You got balls aha.

Did the mormans die ? Or did they just have dreams of getting mauled ?

I also forgot to tell you to stay out of the TB ward around halloween time. Cops are always there.

Also around then a few guys sit in the projector room with paint ball guns and wait for people to enter the theater and shoot at them. Kind of funny unless its you

We were going to go to this exact plcae this fall when it got colder and closer to halloween! Its the one in Galway, right?
